Normal rack rates without any sort of the usual discounts yet.

I bet they won’t raise the prices at all...that gondola is “for the fans” and they’ll be so happy just to have people there...it’s not about money.
Well, if they do raise the rates, they cannot go higher than the highest rate given for that specific room, which is probably during Christmas Week. There was always a little sign in the closet or near the safe door saying this room shall not exceed the highest rate of xxxx on any night. It was a protection for the consumer. Anybody else read these signs? Am I understanding it correctly?

There is a little sign...they just change it when it goes up.

The highest rate was about $170 when I was at Caribbean every day...

Seasons change...profit goals change.

We’re playing a little cat and most game here...rates at pop, Caribbean and art of animation will go up a metric ton over the course of a year or two or three...

There has been about a $100 a night “direct access fee” for hotels with straight shot connections for about 25 years and this will be no different.

If you’re on a budget...enjoy it while it lasts. No matter what devil’s advocate counter thoughts are posted here.

They can charge for it...therefore they will. The die is cast.

The first day with reservations available at Sebastian’s is next Monday, the 8th. Unless some days are already booked up, that looks like when Old Port Royale will be opening

Really looking forward to this place opening. I think the enhanced areas and the restaurant look really great. I always love new food options. Since I have been going to WDW for the past 10 years I think that the number and quality of options in the overall resort have only increased.

The menu looks like a real winner to me. I have stayed away from Caribbean Beach for years, but I’m looking forward to returning soon!
