My trip is less than 20 days away!!!
yay!! :D

On previous trips I've taken my easy share printer in order to charge the camera because the "rechargeable" battery dies so fast  (the camera wouldn't even last me an 30 mins in the parks)

I want to pack as light as I can this time around, so what kind of batteries should I get for the camera? its a Kodak C530 OR C533 ,something like that.

Thxs in advance.

I want to capture every magical moment!

Does it just use AA's? If so the Energizer E2 batteries last a long time. If it takes a proprietary rechargeable cell it sounds like the battery has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced.

make sure you use lithuim batteries these days i find they tend to go that extra mile, its hard to buy a camera without them these days.

also get some energizer ive seen them work in DHS, back in the days theyd last you to Hoth and back

I've been using Energizer e2 lithium batteries in my camera recently. Where four Duracell AA batteries might have lasted 3/4 of a day in the parks, I've now done three trips without changing batteries!

So, so far I don't know how long they last... :D

One thing to note if you do get them, when flying lithium batteries have to be in the camera or in their original packaging and in your carry-on. In checked luggage they can only be in the equipment. There are potential fire problems with loose lithium batteries.

That is what I use too - I bought a 4 pack for my January trip, and I didn't have to switch the batteries until the last 2 or 3 days (we were there for 9). I actually probably didn't have to switch them at all, but I wanted to be safer than sorry :) And I also took almost a thousand pictures too, plus about 30 videos, some lasting up to 25 minutes at a time!

Two of the kodak cameras that I've had used AA's, I have always used duracell NiMH batteries, and over the last 10 or so years I figure they have saved me at least 1,000.00 in batteries. Yes they don't last forever, but I carry 8 to 10 pairs, they are not heavy and easy to maintain. While at the parks I charge 4 in the resort and by the time we get back to our room I switch them out with others that have run out. At this point after so many years of using them, the time to switch them out outweighs the price to pay for new one's.
