I don't think anyone said you have to go and watch a film that you don't want to see. I think what has been said time and again is that too many times people just out of spite claim a film looks bad or will do poorly just based on the trailers or other factors. And while YOU personally may have never done that, there is quite of few posters that have, especially in the Mermaid thread. And all that was being said was, hey at least wait and see what happens when its released or at least see it yourself before its judged.I agree. I don't owe any movie studio anything. I have limited time and funds for entertainment. A family of 5 isn't cheap to go see a movie. So it's their job to hook me. A bad to mediocre trailer can very much determine if we go see something. The Cap 4 trailers didn't do a whole lot to make me want to see it, so I'll most likely wait till streaming. I know some here find that anti Disney for some reason. But as I said, I'm not obligated to give the benefit of the doubt to Disney just because I'm a fan and it's Disney. They need to earn it.
