We are attending the CP on 12-22. We have been several times before but we have never had SC Chapman as the narrator. This is always a wonderful show but we are just curious about this narrator. Thanks for all comments.

He's who we saw last year and he did a nice job. I had never even heard of him so it was a nice surprise. Clearly with his background he's passionate about the Christmas story and was evident in his delivery.

Enjoy the show! I'm sure it will be great again this year when I see it in a week and a half!

Stephen Curtis Chapman is a Christian music star and did an excellent job of narrating the CP last year (as Jerseyskiddie already said). He also sang along with the choir (although he wasn't mic'd) most of the time, stopping just before it was time for him to do more narration. Enjoy the show!

We saw him a few years ago--the first year he narrated the show. We thought he did a great job then and I imagine he has only gotten better now that he's more familiar with the performance.
