Ok, this past Christmas season...

I can't seem to remember...but I vaguely remember there being "snow" falling towards the end of the Candlelight Procession...is this true?

In 2001, when working my carts in front of the theatre, I don't remember there being any snow, but I didn't get to pay much attention to what was going on, just listen.

In 2002, when actually sitting in the theatre, there was snow. I couldn't stop laughing at all the kids that loved the taste of soap.

When I saw the Processional last year, it definatly snowed. Don't know if they do it every show, though. I saw it on a Thursday, though, so it's definatly not just a weekend thing.

Saw the Candelight Processional w/Colin Raye this past Dec.17 and, yes, there were soapflakes, er SNOWFLAKES, even if only for about a minute.:xmas:

Now, does it "soap"...I mean "snow" every night of Candlelight or just select nights?
Freak everytime I sang in 2001 I think it came up to a total of like 20+ times it soaped so I think as long as they can it will soap.

I don't think it snowed, but it does sound familar. I'm going to be in the show, in December so i'll check it out.

first time i saw it was last year and really enjoyed it. i thought about the package deal with a meal and special tickets, but opted to eat at the garden grill and take my chances with the line. i sat way back, but saw just fine. i would go any time i have the chance. it was the beginning of my Christmas season, and then i went on a cruise the next day.

It snowed on 12/29/04 last year with LeVar Burton. It did not soapy snow the previous two years.

I also noted that some nights it snowed on Main Street, and on other nights it did not. That's a shame b/c everynight, especially every night during the busy Christmas-New Years Week, there should be a nightly MK snowfall.:xmas:

When we went last week it didn't snow at the candlelight procession. I think this week is John Stamous as the reading host. Sorry if I spelled his name wrong.

I was there on Sunday (12-11-05) and saw Eartha Kitt (she did a great job by the way). Anyway, there was no snow. I don't think that they need snow for that, after all the first Christmas was in Bethlehem and there was no snow and that is the point of the processional to celebrate the brith of Jesus. :) Oh and John Stamos isn't there this week, he is there on Christmas.

The snow machines are no longer in use. We were discussing it the other night while waiting back stage to go out. Something about the loud noise as a distraction to the choir.

I don't remember ever seeing it snow at the end of the processional. I've seen it a number of times.

Holy old post Batman! Hmm, I don't remember seeing this mentioned before. I would assume that they did away with it. I wouldn't think it would really be needed, as it is a great show as is.
