I would like to see this show replaced with a flaming bag of poop.
It would be quieter than the chainsaw yet still stink...

How could you tell the difference?

Was hoping they wouldn't make it this far.....
Cheer the might of the Great White North as axe-throwing lumberjacks from Canada’s legendary timber and logging industries chop, saw and toss their way through time-honored games of the forest—taking place daily on the Mill Stage. Timber!
The difference being Celtic rock is VERY Canadian especially in the maritime provinces due to the ethnic makeup of the population i.e. scots/irish from the times of the highland clearances.
no its very Cape Breton, outside of that region traditional celtic music isn't really common or popular. If they wanted to do a Canadian show, they could easily do one featuring Canadian rock, which has music from all over Canada, and is actually much more representative of what Canada is today.

I've attended the Highland games, they are extremely fun and entertaining. Unfortunately all this, is nothing like the Highland games.
I would save the flaming bag of poop for Iger's doorstep on Halloween night.I would like to see this show replaced with a flaming bag of poop.
Perhaps 'traditional' celtic music is limited to Cape Breton but not so Celtic rock. Glengarry Bhoys who hail from Glengarry Ontario.
Yeah, I think even in Canada a little bit of bagpipe music goes a long way.yes and if you look at their tour dates for the last 2 years, out of 30 concerts 2 were in Canada, showing how immensely popular they are among Canadians in general.

Wasn't the disastrous raptor puppet in Animal Kingdom last Spring given a shortlived blurb on the website too? This is most likely still in the trial period. Due to the nature of contracts Disney has to prove they did everything possible to let the group succeed before claiming they haven't produced. Without the group listed on the schedule, it could be turned back on Disney with the Lumberjack show stating not enough people were aware of them, and hence the lack of a crowd.
In my opinion, this act should never have been signed in the first place. Several someones didn't do their homework and watch the show that was being sold to them before approving it.

Being good capitalists they go where the money is which is the United States, I believe U2 is an Irish band yet they play most of their concerts outside of Eire...
Being a good Scot I keep having the desire to invade and plunder Ireland like we did in the old days... Ah if only independence had passed we could have sounded the pibroch and invaded Ireland, Wales and England and made them part of the kingdom of Scotland as it should be
yes but when U2 plays a concert in Ireland, they sell out stadiums, these guys play the Kincardine Highland games. Canada like the U.S is and was a melting pot so while celtic music is woven into the fabric of Canadian culture its no more relevant than French, First Nations, Inuits,Metis, or English traditions.
I think you just made my point for me, In that there is no 'Trans Canadian' musical identity, but Celtic rock is one of the musical forms which can be readily identified as 'Canadian' just like 'Country' music is uniquely American it's hugely popular NOW but I can remember when it was in a similar niche listenership as Celtic Rock in Canada.
Let's face it Quebec is like a separate nation within Canada with it's own musical traditions and BC/Vancouver brought us 'grunge rock'
Celine Dion and Justin Bieber should be conveniently forgotten
