Canadian Lumberjack Show to open at Epcot's Canada Pavilion in early October

Isn't about 90% of that water recycled through the system? Add in the rain in Fla. which could easily make up for the lost 10% and it seems like a minimal loss. 40 pound wood blocks being chopped into bits are hardly reusable. Multiply that by several shows per day at 365 days per year and you have a lot more waste. I'm not boycotting the lumberjack show by any means, just thinking that it's far more wasteful than a water ride.

How do you know the wood will be wasted? There are campfires and fireplaces at most resorts. Are you sure it will not be put to good use?

All water is recycled by one means or another. Water is borrowed not used. Wood is a renewable resource. For craps sake, it's the Circle of Life.

Most Canadians know Paul Bunyan isn't Canadian. How are lumberjacks uniquely Canadian? How does that represent my country? It doesn't.

Celtic music is not uniquely Canadian but it is listened to. Spirit of the West, Great Big Sea, The Rankin Family are some big name Canadian Celtic Bands. Canada can base our roots to the United Kingdom but mostly Scotland our first Prime Minister was Scottish. So, I can see hoe Celtic music is a fit.

I would say Cirque is uniquely Canadian but personally it is overrated

Egh... Umm...

"My misfortunes have been brought upon me chiefly by an incorrigible, though perhaps useful, race of mortals called LUMBERJACKS, whom, however, I would name the Cossacks of Upper Canada, who, having been reared among the oaks and pines of the wild forest, have never been subjected to the salutary restraint of laws."

That's the first known use of the word from an 1831 letter written to two Canadian newspapers. While they're not uniquely Canadian... lumberjacks are Canadian. THESE Lumberjacks aren't Canadian, from what people are saying, but it cannot be argued that lumberjacks are a misrepresentation of Canadian culture. It's especially funny given I just recently read the words of a person on the Civ V forums espousing about his home and native land's expansive logging industry in defense of the country's inclusion in the game.

Off Kilter was much beloved, but I'd say both are as fitting for Canada. Yeah, celtic music may be beloved in the Atlantic provinces, but I come from New York and as much as Italian and Chinese food are beloved here, I doubt I could convince people to include such offerings at Liberty Inn.

I gave up watching the video right after they started up the chainsaw. Was curious as to their background and checked their Facebook page. It shows them having their first show at Epcot Sunday, 10/05/14, at 11:15 a.m. And by the way, they even have pictures of the chainsaws that they're going to be using in Florida! I honestly don't see how they're going to be able to put on a show safely with how little room they have at the Mill Stage.

I think the whole "it rains a lot in Florida" so it's OK is a bit of a misconception. In Central Fla. we have been under several drought warnings and sprinkler use is restricted. We are constantly reminded to conserve.

Lumberjacking is a job not an ethnically unique piece of Canadian culture. The U.S. has lumberjacks as does any country with a lumber industry. I would prefer my country not being represented with a profession.

I am not from Atlantic Canada and listen to Celtic music as do many people I know so Celtic music is not uniquely from the East Coast although the tend to be the region that claims it as their own.

I always associate Celtic music more with Irish culture than anything, so I always felt it kind of weird just because of what I tend to think of. I guess I just don't associate Celtic music with Canada.

I think Off Kilter would be a smart pickup for Raglan Road (although i'm not sure where they'd viably perform...)

I wasn't a fan of off kilter so....
I like the audience participation - it'd be better if they were picked from the audience and not people that I don't care about dying. It'd be better if they all have mics. That's about it.
The audience seemed to enjoy it though. But the more the man said how amazing it is I didn't find it so. I have a feeling this act translates better in person for the thrill of it. And they are talented for what they do. I think it's good and will attract passers by.
