Can you get a good grilled cheese at the World???

While eating my wonderful grilled cheese I made over the weekend , I thought about where at the World I could get a good grilled cheese; and I have no idea if there is a place. I thought maybe at Earl of Sandwich but I'm not sure....

Anyone know where a good grilled cheese is available at WDW? :wave:

Never had it but I've read a few times on these forums that the G.C. served at Captain Cooks at the Poly is really good.

YES! The "adult grilled cheese" at Captain Cooks is fantastic. I suggest Wanton Chips for the side. The boursin and fresh tomato in the gc are fantastic additions.

Agreed. The cheeses are a bit different but the sandwich is very good.

Thats because it is griddled cheese, not a grilled cheese sandwich.

It is cheese, honey, and pistachios.

Hard to call it a grilled cheese sandwich with that lack of bread going on.

It was OK, I would not call it great. But then tastes vary

Shoot we used to make "grilled cheese" at CRSC by putting 2 slices of American cheese on both halves of the bun, let it go through the broiler and then sell it as a "hidden" menu item for like $2!

When I was little we had the BEST Grilled ham and cheese at the All Star Music Resort food court. It was made on the most delish Texas Toast. We went back there a couple of years ago just for the sandwich and it wasnt on the menu anymore. We told the cook that we had come just for that sandwich and they made it for us!!

Well, it isn't the same as a grilled cheese... but if you want something a little different, le croque monsieur at Les Chefs de France in Epcot is fantastic. It's a delicious toasted ham & cheese sandwich. The ham & cheese croissant from Boulangerie Patisserie is also yummy.

I'd love to have one now.

I think Rainforest Cafe has a good grilled cheese sandwich.

we stayed at pop century this past May and my son wanted a grilled cheese sandwich so bad so i asked one day and they made one for us and also at Planet hollywood the year before last they made one there as well but it was big enough to feed two children.

The only places I know of are the previously mentioned Captain Cooks, and Earl of Sandwich however I also know you can get a pretty good bowl of Tomatoe soup and a Grilled Cheese at the Fountain in the Dolphin.
