I don't know if I could tour anymore without one! They save us so much money, each morning we fill the bladder with ice and then with water and it lasts past lunch and remains cold. A neat feat considering we usually go in late July! Also, personally, I would stay away from Camelbak brand, because after price comparisons, for the same price you can get a backpack with actual storage space in it. Just go to any large sporting goods store and you can find a nice selection. With ours in addition to the water it provides were are also able to have our ponchos (remember July travelers :animwink and touring book.
