Are CamelBaks allowed at all Disney parks? We are going in May and I just wanted to make sure. I use mine for hydration but am looking forward to packing it with ice and enjoying the coolness also :)

I don't know if I could tour anymore without one! They save us so much money, each morning we fill the bladder with ice and then with water and it lasts past lunch and remains cold. A neat feat considering we usually go in late July! Also, personally, I would stay away from Camelbak brand, because after price comparisons, for the same price you can get a backpack with actual storage space in it. Just go to any large sporting goods store and you can find a nice selection. With ours in addition to the water it provides were are also able to have our ponchos (remember July travelers :animwink:) and touring book.

I have bought Camelback packs, Camelback bladders to go into other large packs that are hydration compatable, and also non-Camelback packs.

I am very happy with the RedHead stuff sold by Bass Pro Shops. Great prices and the stuff is bombproof. I don't quite see the need for it at WDW, I use mine when hiking, but to each their own.

We have CamelBaks already we use for biking and hiking... Two of my daughters have other brands and they do an good job also... I personally use a Rim Runner and though they are expensive but I love it... hold 3 liters of ice cold water (and keeps cold for many hours even in high heat) nothing like a nice cool back on a hot day :) plus plenty of room for all the junk :) Thanks everyone!

My husband has said he plans on taking his Camelbak with him when we go. I think it would save us a lot on drinks, 'cause he goes through liquids like most people breathe air. LOL

I love mine, use it every trip, never a problem and basically do the ice thing and refill with water at any counter service place. Keeps me hydrated and happy because I know how bad plastic bottles are for the environment and at disney, the pocketbook.

Just a little FYI for you and the previous poster. they do offer Camelbaks in the park, and they make the Camelbak with storage available as well. Ours will hold 100 oz. of liquid and just about anything else that you will need for a days journey. I would also stick with the Camelbak brand for their bladder and drinking system. There is a reason that the military uses Camelbak and not another brand. Here is a pic of the one that we have used for the past 3 years. (4 trips.)
