Dawn,

I'm very sorry to hear about your grandparents. I lost 2 of mine, one in 97 and one in 98, and I was close to them both. So I know how much you are hurting and I wish I could help you in some way, but I know that I can't.

Try now to focus on their full lives and all they have accomplished. If you are religious, maybe you belive in a better place. These are the things that helped me to be strong.

Have you thought about a speaker phone? Maybe you could talk with your grandpa that way.

I know what you are going through!
I don`t have any grandparents left!I was close to them all,but my dads mom just died last year,it was so heart breaking to see her die slowly! HEr mind was going,She became senial she had what is called dimentia,eventhough she was in the hospital she kept saying she wanted to go home and that home was across the street,she kept insisting she was at her friends house. I would go home crying every night that I visited her.

Darrel, my grandpa had that. I'm sorry you had to go through it too. I wouldn't wish that on anybody.
