I'm sorry to say this, but I think Buzzy is probably long gone at this point. It's been nearly a month since he was first reported gone, and if Disney hasn't gotten him back yet, then they probably never will.

Not necessarily. He's going to be very hard to keep hidden, even if they manage to sell him on the black market. Unless the buyer keeps him locked up in a vault somewhere somebody will probably talk eventually.

The more I think about this, the more angry I get. It's infuriating that Disney neglected to archive Buzzy 12 years ago. If they actually gave a crap about their own history, they would have made sure he was safely put in storage. If they wanted to close WoL with no replacement, that's one thing. But to abandon it entirely as if it never existed, is disgusting.

Ummmm - this isn’t really Disney’s fault. Someone trespassed and stole him. If the story is true it’s a felony! It’s no different than someone breaking into Archives and strealing him.

The thing he's mad about is the fact that if Disney hadn't left him and the rest of Wonders of Life to rot in the first place, this never would've happened, and Buzzy would be safe and sound in storage (probably).

Geez, you're actually defending Disney in this? I agree that the criminal did something wrong, but Disney should have taken the precautions so that this wouldn't happen. The disregard for their past is unbelievable. They should take pride in their past accomplishments and properly take care of props that hold a historical significance. Between this and Skippy being ripped apart, I'm actually becoming quite angry at Disney.

As if that is something new. It is a theme park not Fort Knox.

Attractions left to rot by Disney:

-River Country (Set to be demo'd next year though)

-Discovery Island (No known future)

-Wonders of Life (Animatronic stolen from it, and looking to be gutted and partially demolished next year)

-Stitch's Great Escape (Animatronics ripped apart)

-Food Rocks

-DisneyQuest (For about three months before being demo'd)

-20K Leagues (until it was finally demo'd 10 years after abandonment)

-Studio Backlot Tour (until it was finally demo'd 2 years after abandonment)
