I remember turning the vehicle around to am. But it won't stay in place, am I the only person who experiences this?

The vehicle isn't spinning per say and it definitely isn't programmed to do that. The real reason is the distribution of weight on the vehicle. Think of it like a tilt a whirl car. If you are the only person in the car and sit to one side, it will always spin to that direction. If you are sitting two people in a car, it will spin to the heaviest person's side.

Refurb Wish List
  • Fix the murals/artwork/walls in the queue
  • Change the queue music/noise level
  • Find a way to make the queue interactive
  • New paint and decals on all the ride cars
  • Detachable guns
  • Cleaned up sets
  • Bring back fog machine (without setting off fire alarms) so you can see your laser beam
  • Upgraded HD projection in the tunnel
  • More room at the exit to view your photos

The room right before the projection room use to have fog. It's not been working for awhile. It's now basically just an empty tunnel.

I don't like it better than TSMM but I like it. My youngest two kids are small for their age and TSMM jerks them around like rag dolls. haha they need seatbelts lol kidding. But Buzz is more their speed. I do agree it's dingy though and desperately needing updates. I'm guessing with 4 weeks we get a cleaned up queue, fixed guns and smaller fixes made. I seriously doubt they change the guns from being attached.

We rode this a few times last month. The queue is typically filthy with people's napkins and such on the ground. The queue Buzz was behind tarps one day and appeared the next day looking the same. We noticed they did change the last scene before you exit the ride ( when you can't shoot anymore).

We enjoy the ride for what it is, but it is challenging to know what you're hitting and how to improve that. We don't even try that much anymore to "win" in our family. My husband won one time because of some random Z that he hit. He has no idea when or where. The kids just enjoy taking the photo with the goofiest looks. It's campy, silly fun that has become meaningless.

Even though the attraction probably needs to be updated, a month long cleaning would be great. I enjoy the ride a lot but I always feel like I'm covered in grime as soon as I walk in the queue.

I enjoy this ride a lot but I think it unfairly has to carry most of Tomorrowland. If TL had received the love it should have on the way then there would not be as much pressure on Buzz to perform. I think we can all agree that Stitch needs to go, many agree that the Speedway could go and that Monsters does not fit in its current location, and some agree that the classic COP has had a good run and could be relocated or refreshed. Bring in some new ideas and new attractions and people will not need Buzz to be the E ticket it was never designed to be. It's not as if they don't have plenty of appropriate properties they could use (Star Wars, Guardians, WallE, Miles from Tomorrowland, Tron) or just new ideas not related to an IP. Maybe if Tron is a hit ride they will consider bringing it over? How close was WDW to ever getting Tron or was it just a rumor?

I remember hearing that Tron was very close to happening. I'm assuming it's because they wanted it to be all new for Shanghai.

Yes
Disneyland has a far superior version. Im kinda over this attraction and hope its' days are numbered. It needs tons of work. It's really dated too.
This may not be the place, but I have a longshot hope that once it closes, it'll be turned back into a ride like If You Had Wings or Dreamflight.

Queue in the CV theatre, load behind it, ride behind that and Buzz building in the car park. Exit where the Buzz M&G currently is.

Sad we didn't get it- it looks impressive. I wonder if we will get it in the future one day.

Looooove MK but I can't help but feel like Tomorrowland could use some love. Sad the movie did not fare better- I'm sure they could have used that to bring about some new ideas to that part of the park.

OMG - they are moving this attraction over to DHS and be part of Pixar Land! (Kidding)
No, they are building a fully size Toy version of the Monorail and going to link the two together by it. You will ride this Toy monorail each way, they will show scenes and funny antidotes from the Toy Story movies on the windows.
