I finnally found a CM who would tell me where one of the high point Z's are on the ride. There is a robot with a hige claw, within the claw there is a Z to shoot, which is mega points.

Anyone else have any 'sweet spots' and how many points they are worth?

CM said that other CM's routinely get 999,999 when they test the ride. I've yet to break the 200K point barrier myself

I've never done too well on that ride, but my strategy is just stay focused, aim, shoot, shoot hard, and shoot often... :animwink: ;)

I heard once that in the room where there is the constant movie-like projection playing that there is a spaceship that if hit will give you 1,000,000 points. I didn't think there was anything in there to register points, but I have hit asteroids and whatnot in there and gotten points for it. I haven't been able to hit any million point ship though. Good luck!

To achieve a high score on BLYSRS ... hidden targets are the key...

(1) Look up on the ceiling as you depart from the first real shooting area. There is a "Z" target up there and if you hit it in the center it's worth 100,000 points per hit.

(2) The room you were talking about earlier sports a wall video of the space ship Zurg. This target can only be seen for a split second while the ship is stopped and right before it is destroyed. Very difficult, indeed. Not sure how much it is worth. I've never hit it myself but have heard it gives major points.

(3) Not sure if this is true or not! When you go through a roundish doorway and turn the car all the way around you might be able to see a HIDDEN MICKEY worth 1,000,000 points. Imagine there is a 3-circle mickey head (on the wall I guess??) and shoot where the right ear would be. I think this is rumor but some people swear that it is true. I don't know! Has anyone heard of this one??

The highest score that can be achieved on BLYSRS is 999,999. The only thing you get for achieving this is the satisfaction of being a SPACE COMMANDER. I've never reached that level but it's pretty cool though.

Jill,

Hey, you can't win all the battles in life. LOL

Hey, you're from Indiana, right? Ever been to Holiday World in Santa Claus? My wife and I love that park. We flew out there 3 years ago for a roller coaster event they hold for all the enthusiats.

I wish Florida had a wooden coaster that is worthy of mentioning in the same breathe as the Raven and Legend.

Too bad about what happened to that girl a month ago flying out of the Raven. Rider error and bad judgement call on her part :-(

WDWFreak,

Hahaha, I wasn't looking for opinions, just letting poor Jill know what other people have probably noticed but never said :) LOL

We don't want to traumatize her or anything!

If you look at the gun, there is a green bulge at the top of the gun. I noticed that if you center your eyes at the middle of the gun, that it serves as a kind of target. I always increase my accuracy when I use this.

Oh, don't get me started with that ride.
I like it a lot, but you wouldn't believe how pathetic I am when riding it. Last time I got the second to last rank :p

KevinPage-
Don't worry, you won't traumatize me too badly!! I'm not too easily bothered. ;) Anyhoo, no, I have never been to Holiday World, although they are advertising the crap out if it here and honestly, it looks like a good time. I mean, no WDW or anything...The Raven accident was unfortunate. It sounds as though the woman stood up for whatever reason, so it wasn't the fault of the ride...however, IMHO, if it had maybe had better safety constraints, she wouldn't have been able to stand to begin with. Like on Space Mountain, you couldn't possibly stand. Sometimes they push so far down on that bar I'm practically gasping for air!

Hey WDWFreak, do you live in FL??

That is called a sight. You use it to find the center of your target. It's on real guns, too.

I know that it's on real guns, too. I didn't know what it was called, though. I know that it sounds obvious, but you wouldn't believe how long it took me to figure out that it was there.
