I think the 4 and 3 free will be a better bargain then free dining for Sept. You can add dinning and still save. Especially if they give $200.or offer free dining :slurp:
I agree. Disney can make more money offering the Free Dining over the 3 free days. As long as the bookings stay the same as the past, the Free Dining will be offerend and the 4 Get 3 Free will not be offered after Aug..Free Dining has been offered in Aug/Sep since 2005.
I think Free Dining will be offered again this year, and if they continue with Buy 4 Get 3 Free, that promotion will begin again after Free Dining ends.
This is the second time they've extended it, so perhaps they will extend it again...I guess it all depends on how the economy is doing and how the attendance is. We're hoping to go next April, so I'm hoping to see this promotion extended until then.
One question I do have, for anyone who knows, is if this promo is good for stays of 8 or 9 nights. For example, if we go down and stay 9 nights, would I pay for 6 and get the next 3 for free? I think someone told me once that this is the case, but I just wanted to double check.
Thanks :wave:I can give you a definite comparison of Free Dining vs B4G3, because I had to choose between the two for June (I got a PIN code email special offer for Free Dining).
For a 7-night trip, the only time Free Dining was the better offer was at a Value resort.
At all other resort levels, it was cheaper to get the B4G3 promotion and then pay full-price for the Dining Plan.
I'm not sure how a trip that's longer or shorter than 7 nights would work out.

Thanks for the information. I booked free dining with the bounce back offer during last Sept visit. IF and the is a BIG IF, B4G3 is offered, I'll also crunch the numbers. I'll post my results, although I could probably do it now. Take the cost of 4 days, plus tickets plus dinning and subtract from my current total.Yes, I'm quoting myself on this one...
I did just realize, though, that there is a difference between June and September, in that September is Value season and June is Summer season... With lower room prices, the dollar-amount saved in B4G3 is less, but the Dining Plan is the same price no matter what season. I'd have to crunch some September numbers, but they might be close...
EDIT: I ran the numbers for September (I had to estimate the B4G3 package by calculating the room price individually, I used a 7-night trip, 2 adults). In Value Season, the Free Dining becomes cheaper for a Moderate resort too. (The difference is only about $54) At the Deluxe resorts it's still cheaper to get the B4G3 and pay for the Dining Plan. (WL Standard View, Free Dining would be $250 *more* than B4G3)
