"Buy 4, Get 3" booking window extended

Bookings must REALLY be down at WDW next year...

The "Buy 4, Get 3" promotion originally had to be booked by this past Saturday, December 20th. I was just on the WDW website, and noticed that the booking window for the offer has been extended to January 24th.

Exactly!!! I thought December 20th was an odder time frame as I know I was knee deep in Christmas thoughts and preparations then. I think this will give everyone a chance to get through the holidays, grab a quicker breather and then start making the plans!!!! Belle

I'd be willing to bet a shiny nickel that the end of January was always their intended cutoff date, but using an earlier cutoff date first gave them the luxury of being able to stop the promotion earlier if it were deemed to be TOO successful. A little wiggle room. Why hold a promotion an extra month, potentially losing more money, if within a few weeks you can have the exact same desired effect and then start charging regular prices again?

I also think a lot of consumers are becoming deal-savvy, and waited to see if the deal would get extended OR for some reason, became an even sweeter deal.
