Exactly. It could have happened five minutes ago and even the best will in the world won’t have every buggy checked the following night. But if they know it’s a problem they’ll log it. And in the case of HM probably pull it out of inventory (or both since due to how HM works it could be a pair of buggy’s down, although it does sound like a speaker issue)Yes. Also I know it's easy to come out guns blazing at the maintenance team but this is one doom buggy out of hundreds. It's not really possible to have a CM test ride every single one every day.

CM attitude can also be caused from being overworked and underpaid.Reminds me of the time a couple of years ago when there was an unexpected extra in a Spaceship Earth scene. Right next to the big green printing press, on the floor but plainly visible, was a big orange Home Depot ladder. I politely informed the CMs at the end of the attraction, and the ladder was gone the next day.
I think that a lot of the time CM attitude is triggered by the attitude of the guest ("I paid way too much money to have an imperfect experience here!!!").
If it wasn’t designed to stop it wouldn’t have a stop button! Nothing disgusting about stopping a machine so a grandparent can ride with their grandchildren or by themselves for that matter. If your so upset about being rushed through the stretching room why not try to enjoy the stoppage by trying to find some things you might have missed the last time you went through the scene.I once asked a Haunted Mansion "maid" why the ride kept stopping during the experience - once it stopped 4 times when I was riding on it - and that's when I found out that anyone riding a scooter, etc., gets to ruin the entire experience for everyone else because the ride must be stopped for loading/unloading in those cases. I know it's un-PC to complain about it. But the ride wasn't designed for that kind of thing. The "maid" was sympathetic and I don't think she was just being diplomatic. But nothing will change of course. Guests will continue to be rushed through the foyer with the changing portrait rather than being told the Mansion's story properly, and the ride will stop again and again for people the ride wasn't designed to accommodate. We get it, you want to completely exclude a section of the population from being able to ride it, or, based on your logic, exclude these people from riding any Omnimover ride. It's not just "un-PC", it's ignorant and insulting. I'm sorry that the ride stopping a few times inconvenienced you that much. You generally tell the CM at unload.So in theory, once I got out and found a CM to report it to... how would I identify the bad doom buggy? As they seem to just keep going once you get out. "Which one was it sir?" Um, the black one. "Got it! We'll pull it and have our maintenance crew go over it. Any other identifying marks?" Well, I was inside so nothing I could see, but it was between two other black ones.
