3 words: Yacht CLUB, CLUB Level!

This trip is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction (of whose going).

My wife, C and yours truly.

And we will be travelling with one passenger, extra fluffy!

Say hello to Zelda!

Now, for anybody wondering why, let me give some quick background info on myself.

I am a Canine trainer/behavioralist and we often train working dogs for various purposes. Zelda is in training to assist a young child for whom she will have several tasks. And before anybody asks for any specific information, please know that it would require me discussing the childs medical information/condition which I will not do. I can however tell you that Zelda will be medical/psd dog.

Zeldas family travels to Disney several times a year. I have trained several dogs that have been to WDW with their families but the training Zelda will require is a bit unique and I need to bring her there myslef to actually train in the parks, resorts, and on the various modes of transportation.

I chose yacht club as a resort because they are pet friendly and even though a service dog would have legal access To any of the resorts I figured this would be easier not only for us, but the cat members of the resort as well since YC is prepared for dogs.

Zelda has already completed her public access training. Those of you here who follow me on Instagram have most likely already seen some videos of her or if you Haven't they are there for your viewing pleasure lol.

I am very excited about this trip as it will provide a lot of new experiences for not only myself but Zelda as well!

We have a total of 6 days booked and we'll be leaving near the end of this month. Updates to come soon!

Negative , Ghostrider. I'll save those carbs for WDW. Instead, I made a practical purchase.

It's a small portable water bowl. I already have one that attaches to her harness but I wanted a smaller and the pet store did not have one. But of course, Buc-ees did!

And Zeldas family is part of the cult (big time) so i figured they'd like it.

Yes she could. But she isn't fur-less. Only her ears are exposed. As much of her hair was taken off it's not like she got a military buzz cut lol. It looks very short but she actually still has a fairly decent Is level of thickness to protector skin

Check in was nice and easy. Far superior to Portifino Bay Club level.

The room they gave me was at the very end of the hall. Literally the last room as far from the elevator as possible.

I politely asked about a room change since I have an animal and it would be easier to get her outside in the morning without walking so far. The concierge noticed they should have assigned a closer room and I was switched to the very first room next to the elevator and also next to the lounge! Thanks Zelda!

I took Zelda on a walk to get used to the new digs then snagged a beer at the lounge

The beer was to make scrubbing down the room more enjoyable

I completely forgot to mention that when I arrived yesterday I was personally greeted by New Yorks finest!

Its @Darstarr !! I Couldn't ask for a better start to the trip!

We saved a spot for a photo with @amjt660 but he was a no show. He was probly still with @lostpro9het drinking chocolate oatmeal porters at the ATL Airport

Ill hand it to @Darstarr . YC security at the resort entrance is not easy to get past unless you're checking in or have a reservation but she worked her magic on security.

When I checked in at security, the woman said with a big smile, "you're friend is waiting for you". I was confused for a minute but then realized there was only person I knew that could talk her way in!
