Pre-Trip Buddy, aint nuthin' wrong. Get ya club on!

The saga continues! We be clubbin'!! Double clubbin' actually!

But 9000, whatever do you mean?

3 words: Yacht CLUB, CLUB Level!

This trip is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction (of whose going).

My wife, C and yours truly.

And we will be travelling with one passenger, extra fluffy!

Say hello to Zelda!

Now, for anybody wondering why, let me give some quick background info on myself.

I am a Canine trainer/behavioralist and we often train working dogs for various purposes. Zelda is in training to assist a young child for whom she will have several tasks. And before anybody asks for any specific information, please know that it would require me discussing the childs medical information/condition which I will not do. I can however tell you that Zelda will be medical/psd dog.

Zeldas family travels to Disney several times a year. I have trained several dogs that have been to WDW with their families but the training Zelda will require is a bit unique and I need to bring her there myslef to actually train in the parks, resorts, and on the various modes of transportation.

I chose yacht club as a resort because they are pet friendly and even though a service dog would have legal access To any of the resorts I figured this would be easier not only for us, but the cat members of the resort as well since YC is prepared for dogs.

Zelda has already completed her public access training. Those of you here who follow me on Instagram have most likely already seen some videos of her or if you Haven't they are there for your viewing pleasure lol.

I am very excited about this trip as it will provide a lot of new experiences for not only myself but Zelda as well!

We have a total of 6 days booked and we'll be leaving near the end of this month. Updates to come soon!

If you look closely, there are other tracks around it, like it would be if they were going into the stalls of a roundhouse.

The section of track between the orange lines that has the merchandise caboose on it is the one that leads to the relief area.

Zelda was clearly tired after a long amd hot morning.

When we stopped at Contemporary, a man and his son entered our cabin and the entire row across from us was empty but the kid wanted to sit next to Zelda when.he saw her. Instead of noticing the harness with the many patches displaying service k9, he allowed the boy to sit right next her. I moved down to the end of the row and Zelda followed. The man amd his son seemed to disapprove as the father gave me a look lol.

Soon we arrived at our stop. We had a lunch date with some cool kids

It was @amjt660 , @Tuvalu , @TrolleyFollower91 and Tricia, Maxs wife (who was clearly uncomfortable around so many people )! I'm kidding. She took the photo.

We had a great time and Zelda loved making a few new friends

Another wonderful meet up with friends! Zelda seems so comfortable in all surroundings that you introduce her to which is so wonderful. I'm sure that must be a prerequisite for service dogs.

Day 4 continued


Time to wrap up this bad boy before I head back to the swamps for my next trip!

I left off when Zelda and I met with @Tuvalu Em and @amjt660 for lunch at Polynesian.

Z and I hopper on the monorail to Epcot to get back to YC. The monorail ride was interesting because Zelda and I basically had an empty cabin but when a man and his daughter boarded they literally sat right next to us as the child was hollering out, "doggy!" Smh. I shifted Zelda to my other side and quickly received a "look" from the father. Ya buddy, nice try.

We got back to the room and I was in dire need of a shower. Zelda took a nap in her favorite spot, on top of clothes bag

We rested for awhile and then strolled around the resort grounds once the sun had set.

I got a burger from Ale and Compass (to go) and it was back to the room.

A quick stop in the lounge for dessert

It was bed time after that.

Day 5

I woke up feeling like total dog sh*t. I had set the alarm to be up to make a VQ for Tron. The plan was to visit MK that morning. Within about 30 seconds I decided that MK was not happening. I messaged @Tuvalu to let them I wouldn't be able to meet them and she said Em was feeling sick too.

I grabbed some breakfast with hoped if feel somewhat better after eating.

Zelda was providing support in the form of being adorable. Or maybe she just wanted some of my food lol

After breakfast and a hot shower, I felt good enough to brave Epcot.

C messaged me to remind not to forget the AP magnets! She didn't care about me nit feeling well.. (her words) "you're at WDW so I don't feel bad, suck it up"!

I secured the magnets ansld head to SSE

Zelda REFUSED to look at the camera. A woman chuckled as she walked by and saw Mr waving my arms and making kissing noises to get her to look.

I grabbed a beer at Norway. I figured a little buzz would help me feel better or at least numb the pain. and Zelda finally looked at the camera! Time to celebrate!

A few stops around WS and then I received a message that a fellow wdwmagic forum member (not magician ) was close by!!

It was @Loco_driver and family!

We met at in France Pavilion at Les Halles De Glacius (pretty sure I mispelled that).

We chatted for awhile and Zelda got some love from everybody. She was very happy to have a break.

It was truly a pleasure to meet them but far too brief. There will definitely be a next time with more beer/seltzers! Especially now thay @Loco_driver and myslef are brothers in being banned by the mods!

Zelda and I had a reservation at Remy so made our way there, only top see this...

I decided that getting a 1664 was a good idea to kill time while that line died down before we rode.

After that we headed back to the room for a break. I was feeling better but only because I had a few drinks , haha.

Zelda promptly went in her kennel to take a nap. She didn't even wait for me to get her gear off.

I took a shower and got some medicine in me then we rested for awhile before getting ready to head back out.

I went to the lounge for a snack and I caught these riff raffs who snuck in trying to swindle some cookies! It was @amjt660 trying to live the club level life!
