I cant imagine them building a ride for a movie that didnt do to well.
But Canada and all the countries without rides need to add something.
I cant believe a small country like Norway had one added but Canada, Japan, etc has nothing.

I'm sure this is a factor but not a very big one. Splash Mountain is based on a movie Disney wont even acknowledge they made, Song of the South.

GRR is the kind of ride that could be cloned, but make sure the theming is different to make it feel like a different ride. I have always thought that GRR needed some AA Bears and such on it. I don't think they should make the mountain shaped like a bear either though.

But the Bear Shaped Mountain is in the Movie! GGR is based on BB but it's connection is kept on the low. They built the ride before they made the movie.If you didn't notice, Transformation Mountain is shaped like a bear and in GRR you take on the role of Kenai as you go down the rapids. Tanana even says to Kenai after he wakes up " it must have been some ride down those rapids ". If you want the Bear shape pointed out rent/buy/watch the DVD and select Moose Commentary and skip/watch to the part after the spirits zip back up into the sky after Kenai's Transformation. Watch it!

Don`t forget O`Canada - not a ride, but still an attraction! As for Japan, they were to have the Carousel show `Meet The World`. Then the Mount Fuji Rollercoaster.... along with rides for Germany and Italy. Oh - and a theatre show for the UK. Hey ho...

This may have been asked already, but, is this going to be better than Kali? (fingers crossed!)

The themeing could be great, but is there enough space for a giant ride like this?

The only problem is that by making a river rapids attraction at epcot... People may not see alot of reason to go to AK... The river rapids ride their may see a decline in attendence which when Everest opens the ride would make the balance of people between rides... however by having the river rapids at Epcot too, less people would ride the AK rapids and thus, longer wait at Everest, creating complaints...

I do not see why people do not think of a Water Coaster... That attraction would get people to come. SWO has the only watercoaster in the region, and if Epcot had a better one, more people would go to epcot...

and it wouldn't take much to make a better water coaster than Atlantis...
