LAKE BUENA VISTA - What can only be described as anti-climatic on it's best day, The Country Bears, famous for their attraction at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, staged a protest at The Land today. Although, not all of the Bears showed up. A mere 2 of their clan, Big Al and Liver Lips were on hand today to protest the rumored changes coming to The Land once the new thrill ride, "Soarin" opens next Spring. http://img23.photobucket.com/albums/v68/jennifer1202/The_Land.jpg

While one would think that seeing the Country Bears over at Epcot would be strange enough, the real eye opener was the apparent loss of size to Al & Lips, due to Disney's "forced perspective". http://img23.photobucket.com/albums/v68/jennifer1202/Far_away.jpg

Leaving their famous brethren behind did not fare well for the duo as they were barely noticed aside from a few strange glances by tourists trying to avoid the afternoon thundershowers. But they would not be denied and proceeded down into the Sunshine Food Fair. http://img23.photobucket.com/albums/v68/jennifer1202/Inside.jpg

Apathy was the theme of the day. It seemed that no one cared about colorful balloons or well themed food courts. But no one really cared about The Country Bears. When approached for comment, Mr. Lips muttered something about going back to his "roots" in Tennessee. Mr. Al seemed disheartened over today's events and his friend, The General, who was conspicuous by his absence. "I don't know whyyyyy he did not show uppppp. But therrrrrrrre will be blood on HIS saddllllllllle". :D

That is awesome Kevin. You did a job well done, I just wish Grizz could have been there with you. I know he would have loved to be in the picture with the "Grizz will cry" sign. I hope he enjoys what all has been done for him! :sohappy:

It terms of apathy. You being in front of people or something you did being in front of them and they ignore it. Happens to me all time due to the misconception of my role. Nevermind... ;)
