Breaking Bad...

The "Honest Trailers" are very funny. They generally rip movies apart. Watch the Avatar one for evidence of that.

But they made an exception to the "movies only" thing and did one for our Breaking Bad...

I wonder about that friend of Hank's at work. Could he be a bad guy? Hope not!

Skylar and Walt should just turn themselves in!!

Not enough Jesse. Just when it looks like it will get good, it ends.

Poor Marie.

Not my favorite episode ever. What's up with Todd?

We need more of this DEA agent:

Seriously, why is he not a main character. He has walrus tusks made out of Sam Elliot's mustache from The Big Lebowski.

I was talking to the TV....
"Just get in the f__king van, Jesse!"
Part of me wanted him to get in because it means he survives. The other part of me really wants him to be the one who takes Walt down.

It would be so much more exciting than Walter going up against Meth Damon and his relatives. And I really don't see Walt in a gun/ricen battle with the DEA.

Through that whole scene in the restaurant, I kept wondering if Todd is Matt Damon in disguise. I know it may sound crazy, but he looks and talks like him, has similar facial expressions...he even motions like Matt Damon.

I'm sure he isn't, but the similarities are uncanny!

Here's what I don't get...

Walt didn't poison Brock with ricin. He used that Lillies of the Valley. (I also don't get HOW he poisoned Brock, as he had no access to him, but that's a thing I'm just letting go...) So why does Jesse wig out over the ricin? And why is Saul yelling that he wouldn't have done it if he'd known what Walt was planning? That's not what Walt did.

I did always think it was odd that Jesse swallowed the story about the ricin being in the roomba, since he had already checked it, but whatever. Jesse swallows a lot of stuff so that he doesn't have to deal with it.

I like how Marie wore black and Hank and his friend at work are now in purple. Also enjoyed the killers cleaning up in the bathroom.

You do know that you all are gonna make me start watching this now!
If you want to watch it, you should:

1. Stop reading this thread! We're discussing the last shows here.

2. Watch it from the beginning. But I swear, if you watch the first 30 seconds of the first episode, you'll be hooked!

I skip over threads like this mostly because I know at some point when it makes it to hulu or netflix (or other sources) I may go on a week or two week binge...

I did watch the first episode, and I was not intrigued at all...

Then I stand corrected. Maybe it isn't for you. :) Too bad.

Nah, I felt the same about many other shows, including Once Upon a Time (which, I am addicted to and ed about how they left it last season!)...

So, I'm quite sure I'll get into this.

The last TV show to grab my attention and hold it from Episode 1...was Dexter.

OMG, I have a friend who loves that show. Kept going on and on about it. So I finally watched the first one. I didn't like it.

My sister made me sit through the entire first season of True Blood. Done with THAT!

I guess you just never know.

It was about midway through season 2 when I really got addicted, but I was still enjoying what came before. I just took my sweet time getting through it. Then I blasted through the rest of 2 and 3 in a week.

The 1st season is pretty short I'd definitely just try that 1st and see what you want to do from there. Just keep in mind the show gets bigger and really creates an awesomely dark world of characters as it progresses.

My girlfriend makes me watch it and I found treating it as a comedy makes it so much more bearable. Whenever people talk about it like its a serious drama I can't help but laugh. At least I successfully pushed Breaking Bad onto her so it would be top priority when they were on at the same time.

I find that men like Breaking Bad more than women. Being a woman, I don't want to delve too deeply into that, lol.
