Breakfast

Thanks so much for all the great suggestions! Last trip we stayed Club Level....unless we win the lottery on Saturday, I don't think that will be in the budget. I am looking at POFQ and think we are better off paying out of pocket for meals. Children are 11 and 13. My 11 year old is a very light eater and I don't think the DDP will make sense. Thanks again!
I have light eaters too. They would share meals and so then we had extra quick service credits to use on breakfast or whatever. When hubby and I ate breakfast, we would drink coffee in the refillable mugs and got milk with our meal to put in the fridge for cereal and whatnot

I love American breakfasts, so I can't resist tucking into some tasty treats before heading off into the parks. I just avoid the thrill rides straight away.

My usual WDW food schedule is a large breakfast around 8, then a light lunch (a snack or a QS) around 12 (need to replenish the energy reserves for afternoon park activities). Depending on the size of lunch, I'll aim for dinner between 5 and 6 to avoid the dinner rush. Finally, upon return to the resort in the evening, I might indulge in an evening snack and/or an adult beverage.

What does everyone do for breakfast when staying onsite? We will be flying. I hate the idea of spending a lot of $$$ and time eating at the hotel.

We usually eat twice a day - at around 11 a.m. for "lunch" and then dinner, usually between 6 and 7. We have a snack mid day. If we have breakfast, its usually a character breakfast. To make it to 11 a.m., we grab a piece of fruit or a bagel or a granola bar. You can ship breakfast items to your resort - like granola bars and bagels and protein shakes/bars.

I just signed up at publix's website and I am going to load coupons on my account and just use my phone number when I get to the store for discounts. I also buy some uncrustables for my son for breakfast. I throw them in my bag frozen and they are defrosted by the time I get to the park and he is ready to eat. I will prob also get a pack of drinkable yogurts for him as well.

We use the food courts. The food is much better than anything we could pack in our suitcases. Obviously, it's more expensive than bringing a box of granola bars or cereal. We also have to take a day to have a character breakfast!
