Boma is one of the best places on property. You will find some African inspired dishes as well as the tried and true favorites. Next to that would be kona cafe at the Poly. The pineapple macadamia nut pancakes are incredible and the 100% kona coffee is the best coffee on the planet.

Hi,

We enjoy either going to the Cape May Cafe or O'hana for breakfast. Both are Character meals. Cape May Cafe is a buffet and O'hana is served family style. Both have fabulous food.

Wispering Canyon at Wilderness Lodge is a blast. They play games with the kids and have fun with everyone. Food is good!

It depends on what type of breakfast you are looking for.
In particular, do you want:

1. A quick breakfast so you can get to the parks early.
2. A sit-down breakfast with waiters.
3. A character buffet breakfast
4. A breakfast in the park after you have first ridden some big rides.

Normally we do #1. We want to eat quick and get to the bus stop to be at the park when it opens. We use the food court and very often just the 'grab and go' part. Sometimes the hot food line isn't open yet.

During the trip we will schedule one character breakfast, #3 above, usually at the Crystal Palace early.

People who have villas and kitchens will, of course, probably eat in their rooms. Even some people who have regular rooms but are looking to save money will have milk and cereral and toast, etc. in their rooms. The moderates and deluxe resorts have free refrigerators.

Overall, you have to figure how much park time you are going to invest in breakfast.

Good luck.

BTW- EPCOT is a tough place for breakfast unless you are doing a princess meal.

Kona Cafe at the Poly is the best quiet sit down breakfest I have ever had in the World. If you are looking for a character meal... then I would do either Chef Mickey's or Ohana, but really for a great meal, Kona can't be beat.

My two favorite places are Whispering Canyon and Crystal Palace. I love having breakfast and usually only do when on vacation.

If you're near the Epcot resorts try Spoodles!

Also, when we stay at the Boardwalk we always get a little breakfast pastry or cereal and fruit from the little Screen Door store. It's much cheaper than regular breakfasts...plus you're not too full for a yummy lunch!

My favorite place for a quick (and cheap too!) breakfast is the Earl of Sandwich.
I go there religiously on my all-day DTD shopping trips.

'OHana's:slurp: is sooo delicious and it is a character meal, too. The kids do a little parade around the room. Cape May is good, too. We are trying Crystal Palace on this upcoming trip. We only have 2 sit down breakfasts planned for our trip. We'd rather sleep in a bit and then go to the parks.

We prefer to eat a light breakfast, counter service for lunch (just grab, eat quick and go back to the fun) and table service for dinner (so we can sit and relax a bit before going to play again). We'll bring a bag of cereal from home and eat that in our room or pick up some pastries before leaving the resort or at whichever park we venture to. Sometimes we get a quick bite from the foodcourt, too.

Have fun planning!!:)

Cape May Cafe(Beach Club Resort) is my fav buffet breakfast.
Kona(Polynesian Resort) is my fav sit-down breakfast.
I would highly recommend those two restaurants.

I second this. We stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge last year, and the breakfast at Boma was one of the best parts of staying there. Its a buffet, so there's a huge selection of both hot and cold foods, fruits, and pastries to choose from. There are also some African dishes on the buffet that are fun to try, plus all the American breakfast staples.

I also second the Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness Lodge. We just got back from there a week ago, and it was great as always. If you go there, I recommend the breakfast skillet. The whole family can share out of a skillet full of sausage, waffles, eggs, potatoes, etc. Its "bottomless", so if you run out of something you can always ask for more (though I can't guarantee that you won't be made fun of by the waiters for this :D)

Hands down, our favorite spot for breakfast on property is Kona Cafe. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of some of the other spots, but they have great food and the best coffee!

We love the Donald's Breakfast Safari in Animal Kingdom. It used to be the Breakfastasaurus in Dino Land. But it now it is in Africa. You get all the characters....Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, etc.......... the food is good too.
