The problem with mine train isn't so much that it's the "NEWEST" ride anymore. One could argue there are plenty of attractions at MK that could eat these people up. The challenge facing this ride is that it hits the sweet spot for everyone. It has just enough thrills that an average coaster person will find it amusing, but not turn off enough people who are afraid of them, it has a low height requirement so kids of all ages can ride it, it has pretty nice theme and decor that people less interested in coasters but like "disney stuff" will want to ride. IE its a good "everyone" attraction. Yeah, thrill wise it's a C, but I'm a coaster junkie and still find it entertaining. I never wait for it though, as a passholder I only go on it if I can get a fast pass. Rare, but I have no use for a 2 hour line.

I waited over 3 hours for a less than 2minute ride last year.

Never Again.

No. Mystic Timbers at Kings Island. I think our final wait time ended up being 3hours and 18 minutes.

We skipped both NRJ and FoP at Disney this year. NRJ was 90 minutes, I would have done that for FoP, but not a boat ride.
Ah, gotcha. I would definitely wait 90-120 minutes for FoP (especially if AK was the only park I was going to that day), but I wouldn’t wait over 20 minutes for River Journey. Not worth it.

I have fast pass next week for flight of passage. I wouldn't wait more than an hour otherwise.

I hear the boat ride is walk on caliber only...so therefore I won't wait for it.

Also skipping "rivers of light"...I'm not prepared to see it mentally if the rumors are true.

...going to the Edison though ;)

I waited about an hour for FoP when I was there in November, and the queue is good enough to wait. I had a FP for RJ, so if you want to ride it, I’d do it when the park opens.

You should at least try them once before judging. Everyone has different tastes.

I had a FastPass for Flight of Passage towards the end of my trip but decided to wait 90 minutes my second night. I think a wait up to that long only adds to the story and am personally very happy I waited once. Time passed quick surrounded by story and immersive elements and as much as they built the ride experience up, it more than held up it's end of the deal.

For what it's worth, my parents and 41 year old autistic brother really enjoyed Na'vi River Journey. What's there is great, it's just short. Having said that, it's unlikely I'd wait more than 30 minutes for it unless there was a risk I wouldn't get on it on that particular trip. Flight of Passage I'd wait 2 hours for if I had to, or longer again if there was a risk I wouldn't get on it on that particular trip.

I don't know for sure, perhaps @lentesta can weigh in, but I think Fastpass distribution for Flight of Passage is lower than most rides. In theory that helps move the standby line a bit more consistently.
