Hey, momma! We're good. Yup, she is. Got here Saturday evening. She stayed at the apartment that night so last night was her first night sleeping here.

No news yet. The job I told you guys about that would have been awesome got filled- probably internally it's a large company. But I applied for another promising one that would use some of my design experience (yay!) at an Architecture firm. I am going to call them tomorrow and follow up.
Still crossing my fingers and praying for something to come along.

The pictures look beautiful! Apparently there used to be a pool here. That was back when these apartments were actually nice and they took care of them.
I bet it will be so nice to have some company. Do they have a somewhat comfy place for her to sleep?
I thought that there was no way he knew about it. Especially with the way that those guys were trying to throw Bruno off of him.

Will do, I'm trying to stay positive and remind myself at least I have a job while trying to look for another one. I am still thinking the earliest they would shut us down here is end of July. And it's all a step in the right direction.

What are some baby shower game/activity ideas? One of the showers I'm throwing is this Sunday and I'm trying to think of what to do in the two hours I have. Most church baby showers are come-and-go, so there aren't usually a lot of games. But I know this mommy-to-be would like them. Any ideas?
So far, I thought about making this advice/blessing cards. With pretty paper, I'd give each shower attendee two cards--one on which they write some advice or encouragement for the parents-to-be, and the other a blessing for the baby. She could then put them in her baby book or something like that. But that's all I have...

Make a tray of baby items (sm things) have them covered. When everyone is seated show the tray to everyone uncovered. Then cover it back up, Hand each person a piece of paper and get them to name the items. See who has the most listed.

That's a cute idea! I'd have to rely on other people to bring in baby items though. I'm afriad I'm already spending a pretty penny on this shower. And it's only the first one of "the season" as I'm calling it.
