Bounce Back Offers

what does everyone know about the "bounce back" does every guest get them or only select ones? I have been about 5 times in the last ten years and have never gotten an offer. I am planning a quick trip in july but a longer one for march of next year and was hoping to get one.

Watch the boards too. If bouncebacks are being offered, you will see people posting about them. That way, if you don't see a flyer in your room (sometimes a room is missed), you can ask the front desk before you check out.:)

Last Year

I went in September last year and I knew because of these boards that it was being offered. However, when I arrived there was no offer in my room. I went to the front desk and asked about it. They were indeed doing the bounce back offer and I booked that day. So ask it can not hurt.

I believe, but could be wrong that Bounceback was only offered to guest who went during free dining. If you are going in July, you probably won't get offered Bounceback.

There is usually a brochure in your resort room with the offer, the extension to call on the room phone, etc. But sometimes a guest will take the brochure with them and it doesn't get replaced so you must ask at the front desk or concierge desk if there is a bounce back offer and if so, you are eligible to call. We did this in March at our resort, there was no brochure but I figured there might be a possible bounce back offer, and there was.

Also you can book the resort for your future stay, but you can make changes to the date, i.e. add a day or start on a different day, etc., and change the resort once you get home and have the bounce back offer in place. There is a phone # on the brochure that you can call from home, it is a separate number from Central Reservations, etc.

Would I have t obe one of the people staying in the room? Or can I make the reservation for my parents in case the wife has other ideas?

So, I'm totally curious. I thought that bounceback offers were only offered during free dining. What was your bounceback offer?

I stayed at the Poly in December, 2008 and again at the end of March 2009, and the bounceback offers were the same -- 40% off rooms during selected dates. (none of which were my next choice of dates in mid-November)
You usually find them on the desk in your room, these were a gold/yellow clock with White Rabbit.

Hi all, There are different offers that have been left in the room, some are Free Dining, which was offered during Free Dining travel period last year, some are a room discount which I have seen on a number of occasions. In any event the room that is booked MUST be for one of the guests on the current trip. Also dont forget that if you name our travel agent (if you have one) That person will then have access to your reservation and can work on it on your behalf once the reservation is made. Belle

Im guessing they wont be able to give you a definitive price... since the following years rates have not come out. So, if you do a 'bounce back' offer... say with free dining.... you automatically get the free dining? Its not like you have to call when free dining is offered in the hopes of getting free dining?

By the time the Free Dining was on for last year, 2009's rates were already out, so the pricing was definitive. People who booked Free Dining were already set and did not have to wait for the Free Dining offer that just came out. Belle

If you tune in to the "Resort Channel" in your room, any bounceback promotion that's current will be advertised there - you just have to watch for a minute or two until it pops up.

For the last two years I have been there, there has been a brochure sitting on the table in the room with the bouncsback offer on it. In October '07 the bounceback offer was for free dining and this past Dec '08 the bounceback offer was for a % of your resort stay. The % ranged for 30-40% depending on what resort you were staying at.

I hope there is a bounceback offer when we go in Sept. I would really like to take advantage of it for my Dec '10 Christmas trip. (Fingers crossed).
