Bounce back offer. . ..

So I've seen a lot of people talking about the "bounce back offer". I somewhat understand what it is. . .but I have a few questions about it, first is it actually a really good offer? Second, if we puy money down on it and we need to cancel later as long as we are before the 45 day mark would we be able to cancel without any repercussions? Third, is there anything else we should know about it?

Thanks in advance!!

I hope someone will reply! As many trips we have taken, we have never received one....what is the trick to receiving the bouncback? Would love to hear what the deal is and hope your questions are answered.

My friend is down there right now and booked a BB.. mid august-sept dates avail.. sounds like it was a free dining offer kinda. She texted me something about $92 a night being the offer with passes and dining..they booked for Aug 18-25th at Pop for next year.

Bounceback Offers will typically be found on the table in your room. They take the shape of the White Rabbit's watch. Typically there will be an offer to return later in the year at some savings. The discount and the available dates vary, but are spelled out on the card. The cancellation policy depends on whether you book room only or a package. However, come to think of it, I believe all of the bounce back offers I've seen were only for packages.

The big thing with bounce backs is that you must book it and put your deposit down by midnight of your checkout day.

You can still cancel just like you would any Disney package. The offer is nice and tends to vary from resort to resort. The last 4 times we have stayed at the Floridian the offer has always been 35% off. My friend who stayed at Caribbean beach had a free dining offer. If the card is not in your room just ask them at guest services and they can provide you with details.

Never booked one, but want to look into it! I'm just wondering if it's always offered during "off peak" weeks. My principal is very angry w/ me for taking a week off in September, so for 2013 I would have to book Easter, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.:( I'm not sure if that'll work w/ those specific dates, but I'm hoping! Also, if going in September 2012, will the bounceback offer include 2013? Just curious...

For the last several years we have visited in mid-September and the bounce back offer was always during the same time period (end of August thru end of September) for free dining.

We got a bounce back in our room at POP a couple days before we left, I wish we could of taken it. IT was too offers one for a moderate with free dining in September of 2013, and one for a Deluxe at the same time period...At the time we didn't think wed need a moderate, but Ive talked her into another trip in September of next year actually, and it looks like to be able to accommodate everyone ( 12 or 13 people this time) a Moderate will be necessary....

I am a math coach in the public schools - if I did an off peak I would get fired LOL - it's hard enough to book at XMas.

Yes the BB offers are on a cardboard Disney "thing" and usually have a clock of some type on them. Usually pretty good room discounts on your next trip...you just need to book it BEFORE checking out or you lose it. It must be done while you are there and checked in. Sometimes it's for free dining but the past 5 trips they have been for room discounts and at a pretty significant savings :) All you need is your down payment (usually around $200) and you are good to go! It can be cancelled up to 45 days out with no loss of the deposit. I typically book a bounce back offer if left in my room and keep it or if something else better comes along.....I cancel it and rebook under whatever better offer I get. Just a few thoughts.

it can be a good offer. it can be something that isn't offered to the public or maybe an offer during a time when nothing else is going to be offered. Just like regular booking, you have to put down $200. we have done it once but ended up having to cancel the trip.

The trip we are taking this September was booked last year on a bounce back offer. The bounce back is usually for the same time period of your current trip but for the next year. Our bounce back window that was offered to us last year covered about a five week period from mid - August until about the last week of September. This is the second bounce back we have booked.

When we used the bounceback offer last year, they told us we could reschedule if we ever needed to as long as it was during the dates on the sheet (watch paper). The reservations person said to take that paper home with us and we could refer to it if we needed to change dates any time. We actually changed dates and still got the good discount.

This is very helpful!! I'm hoping we can go again next year. . .I think if there is a good offer when we go I can talk my boyfriend into going again next year!! He wants to wait a year. . . but I think the magic could change his mind!
