Well said, Tramp! I have laughed hard over their fiasco again. Amazing that a state as backwards as mine is has such great election results (over 99% accuracy). And a state as "advanced" as Florida can't get it right. And to think my Mom wants to volunteer as a poll worker in Florida.

I'm gunna tell you a story of how the world was made 
In the beginning, all there was was Chaos. Then from Chaos emerged two beings named Daea and Uranus. Together, they had 12 children, called the Titans. They also had 2 kinds of monsters, the Hecatonchires, and the Cyclops. Uranus hated the Hecatonchires so much, that he sent them to Tartarus in the Underworld. Well, Daea felt bad, because after all, they were her children. So, she asked her Titan children to go rescue them. Only her youngest, Cronus, would help. So Cronus fought his father and saved the Hecatonchires. From Uranus's blood came two beings, the Giants, and the Fieres. Well, Cronus married Rhea, his sister. They had 3 sons and 3 daughters. They were the Gods. However, everytime one of the children was born, Cronus would swallow them because he was afraid that one day, they would overthrough him and kill him. When the last son was born, Zeus, was born. Rhea got smart and put a rock in the blanket instead of Zeus. When Zeus got old enough, he overthrough his father, and became head god. The End.

hehe...actually...its not that the PEOPLE here are stupid..its the fact that the whole system in this area is corrupt..and it will stay that way for a long long time.....having your brother in the big boss chair makes that easy
Let me get this straight. During the first election screw-up, the folks in south FL couldn't punch a little hole correctly so the election officials put together a panel to recount the votes. The panel would look at the ballot to see if there was any kind of mark on it to indicate a vote.
I watched some of this on TV and there would be one Republican and two Democrats reviewing the ballots. Every time the republican would say "no vote" the democrats would say it was a vote for Gore.
They also kept asking to extend the counting deadline. I guess they would've stopped once Gore had enough votes.
Also, an item that got hardly any press coverage, one of the big magazine or tv companies (maybe both) had the votes recounted and Bush still won. Of course had the recount gone the other way I'm sure it would have been all over the liberal press.
Now they have touch screens in south FL and the voters still can't seem to vote correctly. You can't make it any easier. But wait it's just a big republican conspiracy to rig the democratic primary? Let's get real, is there not any level the demcrats won't stoop too.
I'm not saying that the republicans don't have their moments but after the last election fiasco, I can't believe anyone, on either side, would mess with the votes. That would be political suicide.
I personally believe that anyone associated with Bill Clinton won't win. People know what he is, the lies he told, and the people who stood behind him.
I'm a registered democrat and I won't vote for the people who backed Bill Clinton.
