Trip Report ***BOOM, DONE***No, Its not Déjà vu. It’s just that time of year again…the 20th surf ’n turf part deux. And we’re live now!

You were with us for the 16th, 17th, the epic bungalow 18th, the 19th, and the 20/40 so why not...do it again.

I went back and forth on covering this one, TR fatigue has been biting me in the butt lately. I figured, though, that with the amount of new things we are considering for this trip it may be worthwhile to give it another go. With that, lets get the formalities out of the way for the newbs:

Who: @imahistorygeek and myself
PhotoPass_Visiting_STUDIO_411483977463.JPG

What: Surf 'n turfing a 4-night Disney Dream
When: Oct. 20 -27
Where: AKL, Dream, AKL
Why: Well, going to the bubble in the Fall for our anniversary has kinda grown on us. We will be at sea for our actual 20th!

As I alluded to we had some decisions to make for this trip like:
Drive or Fly
Palo or Remy
MNSSHP or Jiko
Get off at Nassau or Stay on the boat?
Homecomin' or Homecomin'

Watching The Muppets Movie now as I write this... can you really watch this without singing!?!? A filet of fish, hey!

Mas details to follow, like how many have signed up for the beer exchange!

We scored $100/each RT tickets with JetBlue, so we're flying! That means carry-on luggage, but we may check one bag to bring Apothic Inferno. It hit the shelves yesterday! Do yourself a favor and try it. It's $9.99 at Kroger.

I finally wore him down. We're doing Remy this time around. Y'all know me...I'll be busting out my usual green dress (because I love it) for this night and some fancy shoes. I'm super-excited, while Sean is just this:

He'll come around...I'm sure.

We also have some really difficult decisions to make about the cruise - stay on the ship at Nassau or get off the ship at Nassau. We have decided to actually step foot onto dry land! I know...your eyebrows have reached your hairline. I know.

This is our only destination:

I'm going a little out of order now. We definitely will be eating at Homecomin'. I will say that I really never had anything nice to say about Downtown Disney. Every time I went, I was underwhelmed. Now as Disney Springs, it's a must every trip. I love all the new food and new places to shop.

Finally, the choice between Jiko and MNSSHP.

Y'all know we sing the praises of Jiko. We've never had a bad or even mediocre meal and we had it scheduled, but out of the blue Sean suggested the halloween party. We've never been, so this year, WE ARE DOING IT!

I've read both positives and negatives, but we're going in with an open mind, dressed in costumes (which is something we don't normally do...we really don't celebrate Halloween), and we're just going to have fun!

I think it would be fun to drop a hint every now an then about our costumes. Keep in mind, this is a couples costume.

I can't stop laughing at "Sean's" expression of going to Remy, I can just picture it in my head.

Red Hair - Sam & Farmer Ted?

I'm absolutely going to Fred Meyer (PNW version of Kroger's) for that Apothic blend!! I've been looking for it ever since you mentioned it in your last TR...LOL!

I know your costumes will be epic! I need more hints though...

Ah, yes. I forgot that it was called Fred Meyer in other regions. We do have the Fred Meyer jewelry component in our Krogers.

I'm sure you'll be able to find at package stores as well, if Fred Meyer doesn't have it.

Hint #2 - Not Disney

Red Hair - how about Lucille Ball and Ricky Ricardo?
