Booking for 2008

I am having trouble book on the WDW site. When I put in dates Jan 1st or later, I get an error message. It either says that I have to put in days at least three days from now, or it changes what I put in to tomorrow's date as arrival and departure and there are (of, course) no rooms!:brick:

Anyone else have this happen?:veryconfu

Yes. You have to call to book for 2008.....you can't do it online yet. I think it is because the prices are not out yet....just a guess.:shrug:

I thought i had read on this site (and others) that with the new reservation booking system (in which every night will have a specific rate) being rolled out on June 23rd, so to would the 2008 rates/packages?

The 2008 rates/packages have not been released as of yet. Hopefully it won't be long!

I didn't want to call because I'm in the "dreaming" stage of my week at Disney for 2008. I usually stay at POP, but I was thinking of going deluxe and just wanted to know how much I would have to save.

I will just wait a month or two for the 2008 prices.

Last year, I booked a room only in April, for April of 2007. I called in July and changed it over to a package with DDP...which means that 2007 rates came out in July of 2006. So, hopefully, it will happen that way this year, as well.

Besides, since park hours are posted 6 months out, that means that January 2008 hours will be up in July. My thinking (which may be flawed LOL) is that if hours for the first month of 2008 come out in July, so should the rates.

That's right! You can go ahead and book a room only at this years rates. Once the new rates are released, you will have a new total. You may also transfer to a package at that time.

We're in the same situation as you LeeLee D. We are ready to book a package for Feb. 08 but will have to wait a little longer. Does anyone know what the average increase in rates have been in the past few years?
