So, I want weird, well seasoned, tasty African/Indian food and my family wants boring, bland whatever food. From what I've read online, I was thinking Boma might have enough variety for all of us. What do you all think? Boma or some other place?

Same issue within my family .... Sanna is amazing, although, if the people in your family are super boring/bland eaters then Boma is where you will 100% be able to find a variety for everyone... But I do suggest checking out the menu for Sanna to see if there is something your family members would be interested in... lunch seems to be a little less adventurous than dinner.

Awesome, thank you all for the replies! There are a lot of good times still available at Boma for the dates we'll be there, so probably give it a try.

WHile we have only had breakfast at Boma, there was a huge variety and you could be as boring or as adventurous as you might wish! Really, lots of variety. Oh, it was totally delicious too.

We had dinner there in November 2015 (and plan to go again this year) and my son is soooo picky and they were so fantastic to him. They even brought him a huge plate of french fries. If you have never been you have got to try it!

I have to agree Boma is a great choice for that wide a variety of eaters. I have a huge mix I go with too from my step mother who eats adult size entrees from the kids menu to my daughter who will literally try anything at least once. Boma and Tusker House both worked for us.

For price and selection, Boma is probably WDW's best buffet. We have eaten there several times, both breakfast and dinner (also eaten at the previously mentioned Sanaa). Boma offers a wide selection of "safe" American foods for those who are less adventurous, while offering some dishes unique to WDW. The atmosphere is great, and don't forget to spend time viewing animals on the savannah! :)

Remember that Boma is at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, not Disney's Animal Kingdom. If you don't have a car, you'll need to take a bus from one of the theme parks to get there.

I agree with what others have said, Boma will fit the bill for you. I am actually a pretty picky eater but even I tried out some of the more adventurous dishes at Boma, and since it's a buffet you really have nothing to loose by trying.

We love Boma. Boma is one of the restaurants my wife and I try to hit every time we were at WDW. She totally loves the butternut squash soup and I totally love the mango vinaigrette salad dressing. We are able to obtain the menus from chefs and have even made the recipes at home. Not as good as being at Boma but still darn tasty. Saana has wonderful views but not a restaurant I would pick if your family "wants boring, bland whatever food."
