Again, so many spot on comments here from posters already. But I just watched the CNBC interview in its entirety and this hit me...

Whoever is crafting Bob's talking points and messaging isn't doing this right. Bob came off in this interview as oddly out of touch and fairly elitist. The elitism is a tone he has masked nicely in the past as a card carrying member of the American Elite who lives a life of extreme luxury and decadence, but it suddenly came through in this interview at least a few times. Oops.

He also talks as though he was lost at sea for 5 years and must now work hard to rebuild the life he had. He was on hiatus for 11 months. All of the stuff he listed as liabilities or concerns he now needs to work on and "fix" were things he crafted and shepherded into reality before he took an 11 month sabbatical.

Is anyone buying it from Bob this time? Cause I'm not. 🧐
Imagine if you bet the farm on a CEO whose main talking point response for recent low attendance was “it was hot on the Fourth of July.”

Todays interview with Iger reminded me how incredible his PR training is. Especially in comparison to how bad Chapeks was. He really could’ve pivoted to politics. I guess his $40M compensation package is a really stark difference to the salary of a public servant.

I was more referring to the Doctor Strange retheme to Tower of Terror. Not a fan of Wakanda either but I'll take that over the *checks notes* nothing in the Wonders of Life pavillion.
My apologies… yes there we’re strong rumors of either a Guardians or Dr. Strange retheme of ToT “back in the day”

Do have to remember where the interview was and who it was for - it was for analysts and investors, not fans and park visitors

Sorry, I'm referencing DCA. It's the only actually 'announced' project that's left domestically other than the recent 'Avatar Experience'.
W simulator on the “multiverse” that audiences aren’t interested in seeing…if I recall?

The quinjet might have had to pay Chris evans, Scarjo and the notorious RDJ $100 a piece…

…deal KILLER!!

Splash is easily top 5 and honestly imo higher… if not the best. Im not saying Tiana will be a disaster but when you overlay one of if not your best attraction its pretty tough to best that.
“Subtraction by overlay”

The parks needed splash for the crowds in 1988/92…

…but they certainly don’t need splash AND a Princess ride in 2024
