Sorry to start a new thread about this, but I thought I'd tell you that if you watch the Travel Channel tonight (Wednesday) at 10pm central they are naming the Top Ten Water Parks in the United States, and Blizzard Beach is named the 2nd best water park in the country! WTG DISNEY!

I don't get the Travel Channel, I'm wondering, what is the number one water park in the country?

I'm guessing Water Country USA in Virginia???

They must be joking, there's no way another park can beat Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon, not in this galaxy, at least. Anyone've been to Schlitterbahn? IS IT SOOOO GOOD to beat Disney's?

i haven't been there, but i did see the show, and from what i saw, the theming was incredible. plus they had this water slide that went on for ever, with up hill movement it looked incredible. made me want to check it out someday.

the theme at blizzard is better than the number 1 park. but i got to admit the slides at blizzard pale in comparison to slides at this place. one of them is seriously like a roller coaster, with upward and downward movement. looks like a blast.

Not so happy

You can argue about a top 10, here we cant even count on 1 finger the good parks. Theres a couple of half decent parks in the Med but theyre unthemed and just slides. In the UK it would have to be indoors and Centre Parks is about as good as you get and theyll have two slides at best, but tend to have some nice decor.
My kids have been spoiled by BB and TL. they wont even go to the pool now "cause its boring".

I think I have seen that roller coaster/water slide from Texas on the Discovery Channel. I think we'll see a clone of this slide in the years to come.

I guess it should be the number 1 park if it has this one of a kind slide.

hahaha! i live like 20 miles away from the 2 water coaster in the world. it's the best! you go flying dow tunnels on this little raft thing. i wish wdw would get one

I think they screwed up on Typhoon Lagoon, I was very disappointed with it.

Blizzard Beach is the best themed water park in the world, but I don't think it's the best water park in the world.

It must really be something out of the ordinary to beat Disney's. Blizzard Beach is perfectly themed, while Typhoon Lagoon is , for me, the best water park ever, so this german place has to a be really peculiar. Is it well known in the STATES?

according to that travel channel show, it is the most popular waterpark in the country. beats even bb and typhoon. so it must be pretty well known. at least in texas.
