I'm aloud to have opinions, this is a message board. I don't need to state stats and facts all day. Even though I could.

:D:D

The movie looks pretty good, but it just doesn't have the necessary elements to make as much money. Namely T'Challa, who should have been recast. Other people have been Batman in the comics too, but you don't want to see a live action movie with Dick Grayson as a modern era Batman.

I know what you're going to say Batman Beyond could be successful. But that is a futuristic Gotham and therefore a whole new version and character. Just like Spiderman and Miles Morales are different characters.
First of all just an FYI its "allowed" not "aloud".

Second, yes you are allowed to have opinions no one is stating you can't. We all state our opinions here, but what we try not to do is to pass those opinions off as facts. So when you're trying to pass those opinions off as facts then you will be called out on them. And then you indeed need to provide facts to back them up. The same happens here for any poster, not just you. That is how discussions work, especially on the internet, otherwise why should anyone engage in conversation with you.

I'm all for making similar characters in the Marvel movies and shows.

There's a big difference though between REPLACING and CREATING similar characters alongside current characters. War Machine didn't have to take Ironman's spot to be a cool character. Hulk and Thor didn't have to be killed off to see female versions that are like them. etc. Same goes for D.C. characters like Superman, Batman and Green Lantern.

With Captain Falcon, Ironheart and Shuri Panther they are replacing Captain America, Ironman and Black Panther. Two of them were killed off and the other was sent to the past.
You're making it seem like all these decisions were made in a vacuum, they weren't.

RDJ and Evans decided to walk away from those roles, and Boseman died. So they decided to not recast (at least for now) because they are played by actors who turned in such iconic performances over many films. I mean imagine the fan backlash if they recast Tony Stark or Steve Rogers characters with another actor. And because the MCU is a single continuity it makes sense within the greater story universe to move on with other characters than to recast. The only two times they recast major characters in the MCU has been with Rhodey and Bruce, but both of those were very early on before being established.

And so the difference between these roles and the ones you mentioned from DC, the DC movie universe has never really had the same continuity until after the MCU. Meaning that most DC film pre-DCEU can be seen as standalone films (or film trilogies like Nolan's Batman) not connected to any other DC films. As such there isn't the same importance for keeping the same actor between the different iterations of the DC characters. In addition it was typically many years between when the characters were recast.

Some additional details -

"The song, a tribute to the life and legacy of Chadwick Boseman, was written by Tems, Ludwig Göransson, Rihanna and director Ryan Coogler. It will be released on Friday, Oct. 28 in advance of the movie, which premieres in theaters on Nov. 11. Rihanna briefly teased the song’s melodic hum on social media, but little else is known about the style and sound of “Lift Me Up.”

“After speaking with Ryan and hearing his direction for the film and the song, I wanted to write something that portrays a warm embrace from all the people that I’ve lost in my life. I tried to imagine what it would feel like if I could sing to them now and express how much I miss them,” said Tems. “Rihanna has been an inspiration to me so hearing her convey this song is a great honor.”

Rihanna’s own Westbury Road label is releasing “Lift Me Up” in partnership with Roc Nation, Def Jam Recordings and Hollywood Records. Details about the rest of the movie’s soundtrack, which will be available on Nov. 4, remain vague."

and for those who want to view the event

Oh, and I have found that ignore can be the best friend against those dwelling on race, gender, and whether anyone is "milking for someone's death".
