Birnbaum's Imagination

Ok, I was just looking through the 2003 Birnbaum and noticed some things.

1. On the map of Epcot...they left the graphic of Horizons but changed the "front" of it to a "Mission : Space" color.

2. Journey Into Your Imagination w/ Figment is not called this...it is called "Imagination!"

3. The pic of "Imagination!" is of version 2.0 of JIYI

4. Epcot Essentials does not have Imagination listed...so I would think that if it's the "official guide" that even Disney themselves realizes that it's not a "Must see"

5. In the "Magical Milestones" section...they say "1983 was the opening of Journey Into Imagination (now Imagination!)...but...it also says "2000 Journey Into Your Imagination (now Journey Into Your Imagination with Figment)

(are there 2 different Imagination rides in Epcot? )

can someone say "detail oriented" ?

Sounds like their not to hot on Epcot! Mind you, I don't think they are big enough mistakes to effect someones trip :D

I think the whole building (including Image Works) is called the Imagination Pavilion.

As far as the other nit picking things... well they publish the books well ahead of time so they cannot have all the info correct (or the maps right). They only update every few years on the maps to save on costs I guess.

Silly Ol Freak.

"they say "1983 was the opening of Journey Into Imagination"

It was...the ride part opened in 1983 - and it still wasn't finished to their original liking! :)

I actually have contributed to Birnbaum's Official WDW Guides! I'm credited in their guidebooks! :D :)
