Biggest Disney Pet Peeve

First. I cant stand when someone in my party cant make up their mind about what they want to do. We ended up walking around for an hour while my brother changed his mind 4 times. (He's 32 so its not like he's a child) My advise...pick the hand full of things you feel you need to do and do those first. Then, after those are done everything else can be extra.

Second. When a cast member asks you not to stand on a planter, hop over a rope or to clear a walk way,...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to them. These folks are just doing their jobs and trying to keep you from getting hurt or kicked out of the park.

It never ceases to amaze me the number of people who try to get in the handicap line at the bus with their stroller that think they can just leave the kid in it and wheel them on. I once saw a man at WL have a complete melt down, he got behind us in the handicap line with their suv sized double stroller, the man asked if this was the stroller line , I advised him no, it's for wheelcahirs and scooters, you will need to get in the regular line and fold it up. he ignored me and when the bus driver came to load my Dad and told him again regular line, fold stroller, he yanked his kids out of the stroller tried to fold it up and when it did not fold , he yanks the whole stroller up and hurls it into the grassy/shurbry area behind the bus stop, his kids were crying , his wife was livid it was comical and scary at the same time.
I lump all the people who have meltdowns like that in to the "entitled" file. People who act like that are the kind of people who go to Disneyworld and have the attitude that says "I PAID ALL THIS MONEY AND I WILL DO WHATEVER I WANT!" I feel like people like that need to be enlightened to the fact that no one FORCED them to buy anything. They done it of their own volition. If most of the other people can go by the rules then so can they.

The worst thing I've seen at Fantasmic was sorta the complete opposite of "talking". It was two women just flat out french kissing the crap out of each other on the front row! I don't want to see ANYbody doing that but to do it at Disneyworld is even MORE tacky!
I HATE inappropriate PDAs! Gender for me has nothing to do with it. Just please get a room or take it somewhere else!

People who walk in front of you and decide to fit between you and the ropes for a parade when you clearly showed up early in order to get a good spot....oh...and one person who is in a queue line and then at the last second 4-5 others show up barging through the line to join their "party"

THIS. I will never understand why people want to be so intimate in public. Had a couple in front of us once who only stopped making out in line to move forwards. It's so uncomfortable for everyone else!

This lady with a stroller would just not stop clipping my ankles while waiting in line at Animal Kingdom. Once, twice, thrice, fine accidents so I no-sold it. Fourth and fifth times I started selling. Then I went full turn around stink eye. Not a word of apology. What must have been around the ninth time or so it happens again she finally mumbles a quick sorry and switches places with her husband.

It's hard to get me mad, especially at DW, but she was trying her best.

I thought this thread was about things Disney does to annoy you? I guess it morphed into things that other guests do instead.

At any rate, at the great risk of re-railing the thread, my pet peeve is with the buses. Why have a person with a clipboard out monitoring the buses if they are just going to arrive in groups of three anyway? Ha.

My biggest pet peeves have to do with parents and their children. If a child is having a meltdown, DEAL WITH IT! Don't just ignore it and let the screaming child affect everyone around. Also, if child is balking and not wanting to ride a ride, DON'T MAKE 'EM RIDE IT ANYWAY! The child spends at least the first half of the ride screaming, ruining it for everyone else within earshot.

Stupid parents!

My folks were like that when I was a child. My anxiety started on the way to a theme park and got worse being forced into the situation. It took me until I was a teenager to break the fear of roller coasters and other attractions. I have never forced my younger cousins or anyone else to ride something they didn't want to.

When you are in a massive crowd walking together and the person in front of you keeps stopping for no apparent reason(no child in tow or anything just would insta stop), and then going off on you for (being too close) and running into their back while a chain reaction causes 5 others behind you to crash into each other..

This (for us) is usually someone taking pictures of everything in the parks. :banghead:
