Biggest blunder in each of the parks

Everyone (myself included) rips on every addition and/or closing at one time or another it seems. If you could pinpoint any one "mistake" as you call it in each parks. Once again, as I have said in other posts, ignore SGE. We all agree on that, no sense in saying it again, since that would be the only response for MK. Personally, here is my list:

MK - 20k. I know Disney had their reasons, and maybe this time I understand and agree with them. Although I still adored the ride as a child and I know I would ride this ride constantly, I miss it so...

Epcot- This one is kinda large. Future World. I miss the animatronic rides as opposed to the thrill rides. Horizons, WoM, the constant closure of Cranium Command, all that jazz. I still ride Test Track and Mission: Space, but still: Epcot was built on the fact that MK had the wild thrill rides, and Epcot was more relaxed and built for everyone to ride and still learn something. I get misty-eyed everytime I ride SSE and American Adventure to see what was...

MGM - What could have been: Muppetland. I have always loved the Muppets. Children in the 80s grew up with them, and we still find something redeeming about them. It would be similiar to Toontown in that kids could relate a lot to it, but also make it that "adult children" (I love that term) would have more to do there. I see everyone smile and enjoying the 3-D show, which is a beautiful sight to see.

AK - What we all agree on: More attractions. If only they waited until 2000 or so to open. Think of what they could have accomplished in that time. I love AK, I think the possibilities are endless there, major props to WDI. They just did the opposite of Epcot (having too many rides with the opening). But more specifically, it took them too long to build something to rival KSR. The swarm of people there all day long should alert WDI and the higher ups. I have full confidence that EE will blow everyone away, and be one of the best things WDI have ever produced, but in hind sight, why did it take so long?

This is just my opinion, I could be wrong...

If you do a search on here, you will find plenty of posts detailing the biggest blunders, mishaps, mistakes, unimagineering, etc. ect. Enough already with the negative posts. Yes, everyone on here has their least favorite attractions, but do we have to constantly have discussions about them on multiple threads?:(

I'll play:)

MK: Skyway closing. Although it wasn't the best ride, it sure was romantic.

Epcot: The Wand

MGM: Tie between the Hat and the lack of potential expansion in recent years

AK: The decision not to build Beastly Kingdom. I hope it strays back that way in the future.

MK: closing the Skyway

Epcot: I never rode WoM, but I'm just not wild about Test Track, so I'm going to assume it wasn't worth it to get rid of a classic attraction for that.

Studios: Logistically, I think that placing Coaster and Tower next to each other while the other side of the park basically has nothing just shows poor planning.

AK: Opening without Beastly Kingdom

Alrighty. I'm gonna start my neg-repping dead-horse threads right here, and i'm gonna

Every new user on these forums seems to have the need to sit here and start another new thread about everything they feel is wrong with these parks.

And while opinions are fine, I'm going to exersize mine and tell the forum as a whole that the repetetiveness of these threads and their outright negativity just has worn out its welcome with me, and i feel its detrimental to the community as a whole and continues to detract from teh reputation of this community.

We're going to have to agree to disagree, and I'll hit that button to let you know how i feel.

I understand why you guys are getting upset but there is no need to discourage someone from participating in this site. Our friend that created this thread is new to the forums. Sure, he/she could have done a search and they could have posted on a past thread. But that could be true for many of the discussions that we have here all of the time. I see repeats of topics already covered almost daily. No big deal. Be kind/patient and allow those people who are not familiar with discussions of the past to create threads about what they are interested in. There are always new people who would like to participate in the discussions, positive and negative. And as always, you have a choice to pass on a thread that is not interesting to you or that you are not in agreement with. :)

I hardly think that this thread was created to make everyone unhappy. Sometimes you need a little negative with the positive. If we didn't have both, imagine how boring our forum debates would be:lol:! You guys know who you are:lol::lol::lol:

I'm not discourageing someone from participating in these forums. I'm trying to get people to stop focusing these forums about complaining about every aspect of WDW and every spot of chipped paint and old, antequated/unpopular rides being torn down or things of that nature.

I'm trying to change people's attitudes and i dont really care if people think im going about this the wrong way. Im tired of this community havign a reputation of people who cant find anything good about Disney. And i'm exersizing my opinion in that manner.

Oh, i like the forums. Ive been here for several years, for less than 6 months. I contribute to this forums, generally in a positive manner and I'm trying to get everyone else to do the same.

Haveing a zillion threads about how Disney screwed up doing whatever doesnt contribute to this community in any manner whatsoever.

I agree to an extent. I agree that there are far too many negative threads on this site. However, I think some negative threads (although few and far between) are indeed very interesting. For example, I found many of the Eisner related threads to be very interesting with a lot of useful info I didn't know about him/the company.

Well, let's go with what's been done right recently: PhilharMagic is a solid attraction. While I don't love Mission:Space, it's a step in the right direction. Even Test Track - again, don't love it - showed that Disney's willing to try the latest technology on a big scale. If they keep pushing that envelope, one day they'll have a monster hit - too much talent in the organization not to.

Small rehabs at the Mexico pavilion are an improvement, and I expect Everest to be good, too. The rehab of POFQ went well, and the Poly rehab looks good.

The biggest recent mistakes I see are Dino-rama and Stitch. Dino-rama just flat out doesn't belong in a Disney theme park. I'd prefer to see a field of green grass there instead. And Soarin' over California doesn't belong in Epcot, unless we're saying that in the future, we'll all be hang-gliding on the west coast. Hope that new film comes in '07 and it makes more sense.

MGM: Animation studio and the decay of the props in the backlot tour
AK: I've never been there
