How can you even compare the two?:veryconfu One is a true E-ticket with years of detail put into its design and the other is not. It's like saying Space Mountain VS Fantasyland dark ride. Space Mountain is a rollercoaster, but it also has a great immersion level that adds to the experience. Just because it's a rollercoaster doesn't mean it's not impressive.

Expedition Everest = a marquee attraction that is going to greatly increase the attendance of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Living Seas Ride = renovation of a dead ride that will attract people who happen to stumble upon it while looking for Soarin' or Turtle Talk.

I've been watching Forbidden Mountain get built since way back in 2003 when I joined here. The thing is a beast! I've never seen such detail put into a theme park attraction. Expedition Everest is an original ride based on an original character. It has more staying power than Nemo will ever have. Everyone here should be rejoicing over this marvel created by Walt Disney Imagineering and Disney's committment to original, quality attractions with unique stories. Instead, many moan and groan about it being just a coaster and that it was over hyped after watching a poor excuse for a ride through video.
