Well, if you know info, please share! I don't use AIM but I am curious about what was told to you. More specifically what is being added. It would give you a lot more creditability.

she wouldn't tell me what was staying or what was leaving...but she said that PIXIE HOLLOW has gotten REALLY good feedback. i asked her if it was staying or being cut and she said you'll have to wait for the announcement.

i agree with justintime. After all, this is a rumor board. Who wouldnt be excited to get a call back, whether the info is relevant or not, thats what makes it a rumor. Ive seen far worse on here, ie disneyroks. i may be duped, but this is pretty cool. even tough most of the info has been leaked already, or rumored about. Now i will just wait and see.

thanks. yeah we should all take it with a grain of salt until something is announced. just thought i would let you all know some stuff i heard. new disneyphile here so i'm very excited with everything disney which i'm sure you all are. =)

ok...i talked to guest relations. this is a rumor board. there is no reason to be rude. i'm telling you who i talked to and what was said. either you read it or you don't. i'm sorry if i offended anyone but posting what phone call i got today and what the conversation included. if you don't like it please dont post negative comments in the thread. thanks. =)

She told me absolutely not will the Sorcerer's Hat be moved. She told me because of Legal issues there is a reason why the hat is sitting where it is.

I know everyone who pays any attention knows this is untrue, but I thought I would take the opportunity to point out that the people on this message board who believe that false information is not purposefully being passed down the employee chain-of-command have their heads in the sand.

I reiterate: There are no legal issues regarding the need for the hat to block the exterior facade of the Chinese Theater. None. Anyone who tells you this either doesn't know what they are talking about or they are lying to you.

If you got the same answer about a Pixar Place expansion that you did about a 5th gate, I wouldn't get too excited about the prospects of a Pixar Place expansion.

Oh, I have no doubt that's what they told you. Disney employees pass along false information (sometimes intentionally, sometimes unintentionally) all the time. And I also have no doubt that the Hat is not moving (it would cost money and force Disney to admit to making a mistake in the first place putting it there) - that's anathema to them.

I just didn't want the "Disney doesn't have the rights to use the theater facade in the park anymore" BS urban legend to gain any more traction than it already has.

yeah well i'm sorry for if i happen to rehash it. i havent heard that rumor/urban legend until today. but yeah i'm taking the pixar expansion and 5th theme park with a grain salt. i was very exciting about the fact we will have an official announcement in the next few weeks. trust me i tried to gain some sort of date out of her. lol.

A fifth park is not the best idea; there's plenty they can work with in the four parks already, and I don't believe a fifth park would increase overall WDW attendance; it would be "something else" for guests to do. Now having said that, if Disney gets back around to building Night Kingdom/Jungle Trek, I won't deny that would be cool.

yes thats definitely something that should happen. i would love to see some more work done on the remaining three parks. some updates in future world, more rides or expansion at animal kingdom, and an expansion with hollywood studios.
