I noticed in an update on another site, that the supporting cables for the canvas (covering) were strung on the second, larger tent. Does anyone know if that second tent has been covered yet? I also noticed a lot more trees in whole area around Dumbo. Anyone wanna bet that the missing Town Square trees were relocated to Storybook Circus?

Taking pictures from backstage is STRICTLY prohibited... If you are a CM, I hope you get fired.

thank you for pointing out this picture. It just made me decide to give that guy 500 dollars to take more pictures from the service road while standing on food carts that he stole from the park, so he can get a good view of the prohibited area, while hes drinking butter beer and eating food he got from legoland.

Wow...you just love to flame bait, don't you?

It's bad enough that you stir the pot in the AC thread, but now you come to spread your cheer in this thread.

You are sneaky Lee arentcha.... I shoulda seen that coming. On the other hand, I'm still trying to figure out why such a useless photo was taken in the first place. Hmmm.... the truck! It must be holding part of the Monsters inc. coaster! And it's on its way to DHS!

It looks like a photo I could have taken from the road. And all I can see is a tent top. No backstage stuff so chill out. It's not like we can't see aerials of the same thing is it. Oh, that's right, we can.

Btw, this is the second time in a week that you have posted something inflammatory just to see people freak out.

This remark was out of line. It's clear from the photo that it wasn't really backstage - perhaps the poster should have stated "outside of the park?" But most of us understood what he meant when we saw the photo.

Telling people you hope they get fired, arrested or injured for taking photos, whether they are "allowed" or not, is very rude.

Fair warning.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Well that's just great. Why did you have to post that? Now my magic is ruined and it's all your fault! :drevil:

The best part about having a rental car is so you CAN go driving on the public roads which go a little behind the scenes and reveal "Disney guts".
Disney guts actually add to the magic for us.

Not only that, but some of the driving directions to resorts such as the WL and FW Campgrounds takes you through some of those behind the scenes areas. Not that big of a deal.

And of course, also nothing compared to the Backstage Magic tour, or some of the photos I took in various areas around the parks. :)

perhaps I was a bit harsh, but that area *IS* considered backstage by the company..

and there are no signs that take you through this area.. as a matter of fact, this road has signage that states that it's for disney employees ONLY....

The signs start near Space mountain and wrap all the way around to Grand Floridian..

Perhaps?

And there's plenty of areas that are backstage, but taking photos of them isn't necessarily a punishable offense....

The truth is taking photos in backstages areas - in the eyes of Disney - *is* a bad thing. But the point here is and has been that the photo in question was taken from an area that ANY guest (or troll) can drive to without a Disney employee ID, and without passing through any gates.

Basically it's equal to taking construction photos from I-4 when the Amway Centre was under construction and accusing someone who shares them of tresspassing on the construction site. I obviously understand WDW is private property, so they can say and do as they please, but nothing about this photo was *actually* taken in a backstage area.

I'm anxiously awaiting new ariel photos of the site!! It seems like a lot is progressing very quickly!!

And, I don't understand why anyone would object to taking backstage photos of the construction??? I could see being upset if it was backstage pictures of characters out of costume or something that may actually "ruin the magic." But, we're all like kids in a candy store with the FLE. We love seeing every little detail and it's purely an excitement thing. The more excited we are about the FLE, the better off Disney is. It's not like they are trying to hide it from us anyway! The walls only go up 10 feet so it's pretty clear that people can see it no matter where they are standing - backstage or in line for the teacups.

71 - if you don't want to see pictures of the construction, the easiest way to do that is to quit coming on here. If you do want to see the pics, then pipe down.

With respect- please understand that saying things like the above IS FEEDING the troll. It *is* a violation of Disney rule for an employee to take pictures in any backstage area. The key here is that the photos were taken in an area easily, legally accessable by a guest without tresspassing - NOT in an area where you would need to produce company credentials in order to gain access into.
