Splash Mountain was one of the best rides of all time. It was time for it to go. Two things can be true. But I don’t wanna start a politics fight.
Nope, it was a great ride and absolutely no reason to go outside of some self righteous softies that get offended by everything..... In shocking news, they did a terrible job with the new ride which is the least shocking thing of all time....

RagingRiverboat and SaltySawyer are going to be HEATED
it’s like people are allergic to optimism on this site. Yes, losing muppets (still dissapointed) and ROA does suck, but we are getting a bunch of amazing new lands, this isn’t the end of time. I have faith that the imagineers can put their all into everything and make some amazing additions to Disney world.
(Deleted my prior post, didn’t wanna start another culture war. Sorry if it happens, didn’t intend for it.)

Agreed, I don't think the Parousia is happening right now.

I'll believe it when I see it. It hasn't happened in some time.

Also, can I just say that your username is great? It cracks me up every time I see that "Blobbles replied to a thread" in my inbox.

Just wait for all the new user accounts that have some reference to RoA/TSI in their username like Brer and all the wonderful posts they'll make.
For many Americans, January 1 is a time to start a new gym membership but for many more, it’s a time to start a new WDWMagic account. New Year, New You!

They are going to want a crane that can reach as much of the track as possible from that location, although I am not sure if will reach all the way to the river side.
I spoke to the construction engineer. They will use a mule train to drag the track segments across the themed landscape within reach of the crane. When they're done they will restore the theming with spray paint having a special sand finish that looks more like sand then real sand.

The height of thematic integrity, you can only do maintenance on a ride using theme appropriate tools and techniques!

Ngl I feel like Disney is running out of things to retheme atp at wdw. What else is there to retheme?
The remaining big candidates to me are:
Star Tours
Tower of Terror (from removing TZ and keeping it the hotel to something much bigger
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
Laugh Floor
Magic eye

That’s it really to me. A lot of these are gut feelings, but I especially feel that Star Tours and Tower Of Terror are on the clock for some changes to me.

So glad the ride is still open for our current trip. First time riding it in the dark — so much fun!

Hoping they somehow tone down the noise of the lift tunnels with this refurb. We plug our ears.
Methinks there will be more in the tunnel along with the noise, comparable to DL.
