News Big Thunder Mountain to receive full retrack

Looks like work being done in this area. There was a recent permit for the address of the Big Thunder maintenance bay which is the building right by the red circle.

I would be shocked if they can get enough reach to get to the far tracks that run next to the river. Very curious how they're going to pull it off.

I'd guess they'd start with the land side and move to the river side when access opens up over there for the TS deletion.

I more wonder what approach they will take for the "indoor areas".

You hire good riggers! I remember pictures of them installing the lift hill track on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride after the shell of the mountain had been built.

Second location would be from RoA, I would assume. But they're still waiting on permitting fixes for that, right? They'll probably do all they can from this location.

Yes, they permit has not been approved yet, but that wouldn't be needed if they just wanted to drain the river for this purpose. Don't remember if they have needed a water management permit to drain the river in the past.

May have to bring in a crane barge, if the RoA is still there at the time.

That's a possibility.
