They just released some more discounts for summer dates. I think it’s pretty evident people are not staying in property because A) many perks are gone and B) no annual pass. What gives?
Post Covid surge ending

Repeat customers not as eager to go back

Cost to stay at Disney is ridiculous

Cost for tickets is ridiculous

Cost for dining is ridiculous

Cost (and stress) for Genie+ is ridiculous

Cost for individual lighting lanes is ridiculous

7am mad dash on the app is ridiculous

Park reservations are ridiculous

Extra hour paid events just for a few hours of shorter lines (in hours the parks used to be open for all) is ridiculous

The amount of planning and effort it takes to do a Disney vacation and do everything you’d like to do (like you used to) is ridiculous

DVC members frustrated over no annual pass offerings

Etc etc etc

Super sad but true.

Having said that, WDW will remain the most visited resort visited as for everyone they lose, there are many more to take their place.

The current promo goes for a few more weeks. Looks like historically Room discounts for late summer/early fall come out early April. Discounts for Late fall through December is usually released July/Aug time frame. Of course, past releases does not predict if/when they release them this year.

Yeah - we are going the week after Thanksgiving (Nov. 27 - Dec. 1) so I'm looking for a promo sometime in the late July/Early August timeframe to be released for that season.

I’m a total Pixie Duster, and there is nothing in your post I can disagree with.

But, but, but, Disney magic!

You nailed it, but I'm sure someone will try to argue against it.

Looks like just Disney visa cardholders, which usually comes out a week or two before general public.

Should I worry that the one week in August that doesn't get the discount is when I'm going 😅. Guessing that means they are satisfied enough with bookings

Hoping that these discounts get pushed into November. 35% off my trip would be a much appreciated surprise.
