This was an old reliable, presumable completely analog system replaced today with a "state of the art" all digital software controlled system.“Not sure how these managed to work for so long… We have get rid of them and the tech used. “

Blaming stuff on guests is always an option like when guests are peeling stickers off the walls in the queues because Disney refuses to use real finishes, but in this case I am not sure this is the guests fault. At this point I wonder how much of the damage is guests actively messing with it since it’s actively become a talking point
What non real finishes is Disney using in their queues?Blaming stuff on guests is always an option like when guests are peeling stickers off the walls in the queues because Disney refuses to use real finishes, but in this case I am not sure this is the guests fault.
They used stickers on the walls in some of the queues for decoration and theming (instead of properly painting, or properly printed wall coverings) that were easily peeled off by guests waiting in the long standby queues due to the failed LL system (I cant think of all of the queues, I think TRON was one). What non real finishes is Disney using in their queues?
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is another one. They used stickers on the walls in some of the queues for decoration and theming (instead of properly painting, or properly printed wall coverings) that were easily peeled off by guests waiting in the long standby queues due to the failed LL system (I cant think of all of the queues, I think TRON was one).
Yes that was another one I was thinking of, thanks.Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is another one.

That was wallpaper.. not stickers. Wallpaper is a real finish.Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is another one.
Yea, TRON and MMRR are just two, and you are right I am not a wall covering expert.Lol
So you’re just focusing on a single installation in the Tron queue that you don’t even really understand the product being used. It wasn’t “stickers”
I’m assuming you’re also alluding to things like the wallpaper in the runaway railway queue. Wallpaper is also not “stickers” and is most certainly a real finish.
I’m not saying they are perfect (far from it) or blaming guests.Yea, TRON and MMRR are just two, and you are right I am not a wall covering expert.
You're right, everything Disney does is mostly perfect (especially in WDW) and we must blame problems on the guests.
It’s probably those filthily APers that are purposely damaging the in ground lighting in the highly successful World celebration area in EPCOT.
Not meaning to mislead.I’m not saying they are perfect (far from it) or blaming guests.
Just don’t be misleading. Disney wasn’t using stickers on the walls. Obviously they should have used something more durable but that doesn’t mean what they used wasn’t real finishes. Designers in the 1970’s built the Haunted Mansion with walls covered in wallpaper too. It also gets peeled off constantly by guests these days.
