That was due to bad upkeep creeping in. Same thing we have now but we can't have it work for 20 years first.

Let’s hope they keep working. Best time of year to visit World Celebration since it’s not hot as balls and you get like 3 hours of night to enjoy the lighting package.

I hope they fix the ribbon lighting around the entrance plaza soon, it’s in really bad shape right now

They’re working on that.

The problem for me though is that is very underwhelming even when working at 100%.

The lights are…pretty. Doesn’t help much when the area is still useless. Just a place to pass through en route to the next ride/shop/snack kiosk. I guess that’s their goal.

That seems to be the M.O. for all of World Celebration.

FON worked great...the tech was extremely old at the end...Even when it was not in "show Mode" it still added so much to the area....

They’re working on that.

If it broke after a year and half, I can't even imagine what it looks like in five years once they no longer want to spend money to fix it over and over again.

That whole area made more sense when there was a wing of exhibits and attractions on one side, and a wing of retail and food on the other side... now it is just retail and food on one side and nothing on the other....and a dry boring corporate park in the middle...

Imagine for a moment if they had redone the Fountain of Nations and integrated new lights into the pavement that would synchronize with the fountain shows. That would have been cool.
