If only they had had a large indoor space with plenty of room for seating and tons of space for seasonal and special events....

Yes and I do distinctly remember when that back hallway had ZERO chairs or benches for a while....it's one thing I specifically complained about on here and elsewhere, and like 2 weeks later, chairs and benches were added.

I'm NOT saying I had anything to do with it, I'm just saying it was nice to see it happen.

Regarding the original building...it was already gone and Disney wasn't just going to rebuild the same building again. I'm just annoyed when people bring it up not thinking that this was a replacement when the budget ran out when the big table thing was no longer going to be built.

For most people the Festival Center was going to be a big unconditioned space with bad acoustics.

Ah yes, then they figured out that guests like places that are nice and cool and turn a profit to add snacks and seating...And oddly call it. " The D Zone"....Glad they got rid of it later on..

There was a time -- I want to say it was around 1995 or so, during F&G -- that the Communicore building(s) were indeed used for festival programming. I distinctly remember there being booths of some kind for the festival when we were there for a HS band trip.

I'd imagine they offered far more space and infrastructure for those offerings than the current shed does.

It's not a shed! Try not to be so disrespectful will you.

It's a shack!

Porting the Tangled ride to the Germany pavilion is probably a best case scenario at this point in time. WS needs more rides
I agree it needs more rides...The Tngled ride is cute but lacks a proper ending...feels like an unfinished concept... It needs a little tension and a bit more of a story arc... If they do add this I would hope they would deal with the before bringing it over... Also an outdoor portion would not work so well in Florids that is prone to tons of rainstorms....

I would include a small drop in the ride, like Pirates, to provide a little excitement in the ride path. I sometimes think that a ride set post-Tangled movie would be good. A thief grabs the crown again and the ride follows Rapunzel, Flynn, Pascal, and Maximus chase the thief through the kingdom and ultimately arriving back in time for the now annual celebration of the Lantern Festival.

Will be interesting to see if this comes to be, it looks like a charming attraction that would fit in well in WS despite more ip cramming. But if they nuke it and cut it all down to a lesser cheapo even shorter version, I'd say don't bother.

Looks like Bob Iger also made it to EPCOT today:

Could be why the banners got put back up a couple weeks ago.

I'm glad he got to walk it during the daylight, since that makes up the majority of the operating day. He was probably reminded that there is no festival right now multiple times.

Still, the heat is on, even if it's not peak heat, so I'm glad he got to feel it, at least. I bet they tried to get him to come for the fireworks.

Indeed he does fly in one of the company's jets, but that wouldn't work for the joke that Communicore Hall looks like an airport terminal.

Sorry, I thought that you meant that Iger took one look and ran for his jet back to Burbank. Not that he got confused as to which one was a terminal and which Communicore Hall.
