I think they could potentially overdo it and kind of ruin the whole area with noise pollution; I'm sure not everyone in the garden area is going to want to have to listen to whatever is happening on the stage.

I thought we were criticizing Disney for the lack of live entertainment...

The temporary boxes around the bases of the circular light fixtures just outside Connections Cafe have been removed, revealing the new bases. They look fine, however the obvious imperfections and different color where they shaved off the “mounds” really bothers me. I'm just curious. I think it would be nice if there was some separation but I haven't been there since the new hub was opened so I don't have a good sense of where everything is in relation to everything else.

It also depends on what the entertainment actually is. The Encanto sing-along they're opening with, e.g., has the potential to be pretty annoying for people elsewhere in the hub if it's really loud (that's the kind of thing that works better in a theater or something similar IMO), but other things might not be.

Looks like they’re finally adding plantings behind the Journey of Water pump facility to conceal it from the monorail. Hopefully that means they’ll reconfigure the meet and greet queue soon, but we shall see.

While I get the need and the realities of lighting rigging, that really doesn't look very good. While I do like Celebration Gardens generally, Communicore Hall is feeling really budget cut the more I see. I hope there is something better on the interior.

It looks terrible. They didn’t try to hide the cords.

It’s designed to be a flexible lighting system to use lighting on a track and to easily add and remove lighting based on the performance. This does not imply that they will all be installed at all times.

If nothing isn’t stalled then they’re not using the stage which means we’re right back to dead space…

Not a fan of the rigging being out like that. I really wish this were an enclosed theater or even fully indoor. The Encanto show won’t be much fun when the real feel is 100°+…

cool!! I plan on telling folks that the strange floating rectangle of triangles is an abstract titled 'The Borg ship that assimilated Heihei'.

Those Diamond triangles work so well on Spaceship Earth but here just from this angle it looks like they are sticking on the building like an abomination of pimples, the diamonds look like mouths like they all would go "my my my" calling out like the seagulls in finding nemo.. scary and itching looking. In the Florida raging heat.

I think the big problem with this is sleek, shinny surface it is in front of which just makes all wiring stick out like a soar thumb. Compare it to American Gardens theater where it all sort of get swallowed by the dark space over the stage.

nope just how it appears from this image maybe only from the side from a box square building. The acne pimples yeah were a real period.

Yes. They could have easily done a drop, using the triangle pattern for the grid vs. the standard squares/rectangles. It could be filled with some type of tile - with necessary ones removed based on each show's lighting/sound/rigging requirements. The sleek underside almost looks worse with this approach IMHO.
