The ability to sit down with your $15 nibble from the venor cart is a wonderful thing. It could have been nicer looking and less plain, but I guess it would not be flexy enough...Some additional landscapint would be nice for some interest....

does a complete, well designed theme park need so much Flex Space?
Seems like the Festivals were meant to bring in crowds because there was not enough to keep the park busy all year.
I don't dislike the festivals, but would rather see more attractions...fewer festivals....

If you think anything short of the architectural equivalent of a unicorn dancing into a starburst is not creative enough for that kind of space, I don't think you would have liked the original EPCOT Center which had a very contemporary 1980s vibe.

Case in point......They were never clear about what these "futuristic" outfits represented..

I know when I walked into Epcot in 1982, I kept thinking, “Wow, this is very disappointing and all of the architecture looks boring like everything else out in the normal public space here in 1982!”

Rewriting history is fun!

I think at the time the outfits just represented futuristic fashion with a whimsical band of rainbow...just for color... There was no message... just fun and colorful... And a nod back to the Space Suits that they used in Tomorrowland back in the 60s (Disneyland)

I don't like the rainbow touch much but it looks imagination and the rainbow tunnel. Goofy looks funny like his shorts are falling off lol here!

Well it wasn't for you...It was designed for people in 1981... Different mindset, different aesthetics... Hard to look at everything through 2024 glasses

I love this! I know people want also the classic outfits for photos but I find it funny now with the new meet and greet it's back to the same thing. Can we have both! These outfits are perfect just have some Spaceship Earth symbols on them or a globe to represent it along World Showcase.

Epcot....Eh we have over 175 different outfits for him let's be as lazy as Communicore Hall and use what we have..

They’ve had lights since the area opened, unless you mean they added more.

I have not mentioned it here but the fact of the new music and this area World Celebration having it's version to me the vibe doesn't go with it at all... unless if your looking at the planter and how it's formation was created by mother nature imaging such underwhelming place for a new soundtrack piece of music that sound more futuresque than World especially if played in this area!.
