Disney: "You can't have streetmosphere at DHS"

Also Disney: "Here's some random dancing women on a tiny spherical playground type structure"
WDWMagic posters: We need more live entertainment! Disney’s way too cheap to add more!

Disney: Here’s a new, unique and different live entertainment offering in our area designed specifically to host this kind of stuff.

WDWMagic posters: We still hate it.

The new entertainment at World Celebration Gardens, Forces of Nature by AntiGravity, has been added to My Disney Experience. Performance times have not been added, but it appears live shows will be Saturdays through Wednesdays only.

That dude's expression is perfect for Martin's new avatar image to replace the "We Are Ruining The Future Of Epcot" in the future.

That person's expressions sums up @marni1971 feelings on the huge changes Epcot's been experiencing these past couple of years.

It does feel a little like this sometimes around here!

I'm kind of liking these light-up triangles!

Certainly a far better way to bring some colour and energy into the central plaza than all those weird purple things they stuck all over the place around 2000 and the weird colour schemes for the Communicore buildings.

The pictures are also making the continuation of the triangle design from Spaceship Earth into the plaza look better than I thought it would from the concept art.

I feel like I had triangles on the brain today ---

Any photos of this area at night with the panels lit? I have to wonder if these combined with all the other RGB lights in this new area (trees, posts, ground, etc) will be too much color?

If not, I'll try to stop by some time soon and grab a few photos.
I would imagine that the way they're being tested is not how they'll be used in practice. A "shimmer" application where they don't light simultaneously seems more likely than them all just blasting one basic color unless they're syncing with a Spaceship Earth show that calls for it.

seems I only end up at Epcot in the evening when someone is visiting from out of town so I have not been in Epcot at night in a spell or two.

Major lighting issues here as of late. According to a CM, the lights were “flashing” earlier this week so now they’re just off completely. Lights in the center of world celebration are also either not on at all, or solid white. This is really sad.View attachment 776472View attachment 776473View attachment 776474
Kind of surprised there isn't a fallback plan to just light SSE with the old sunset/sunrise colors or something static with the LED spotlights around the entrance, like how it used to be lit.
