Not quite the same. Communicore had a more grey-ish tone to it, and the support beams were darker than the main structure

I thought so....more greyish. The color is currently I liked it when there was the walls but not really anymore when the walls went down.

I know it took far longer than it should have, but the area is coming out great and the nighttime atmosphere is fantastic.
Couple notes so far:

- They really messed up with the supports of some of the light poles blending into the pavement
- I believe they placed boxes on them a month ago and are still there... honestly a repaint can do the job instead of removing it entirely?
- The two retail kiosks in the hub are not popular/driving crowds whatsoever, I don't think they'll return after this festival. Hallelujah!
- Not a fan of the walkway between the Hub and World Showcase now, feels very outdated with the retro/gear themed kiosks. Hoping they do something more substantial here beyond a repaint.

It's the end of July starting on the 25th this year..Remember, they loooooove to shift and extend their festivals..

Anyone know why the closing date of Flower and Garden earlier this year not like last year.. is it so we have back a time without festivals or people are speculating a new festival...summer festival....,* I'm kinda curious about it.

They probably realized the event had a limit as to how long it could run while remaining popular. There might be festival fatigue, but not sure if it's tied specifically to the festivals being the same each year and they need to try something new, or people spending less.
Starting the previous year, there has only been one week buffer between seasonal festivals.
Also, did Disney say anywhere that Communicore Hall would be open by F&W?

Only 2024, but last year they did say 2023 so... But because Communicore Hall is being marketed as a festival center first, then the character meet and greet space, its expected to open alongside a festival, likely in place of the Odyssey

Losing money because of the weather. You have to staff all of the different areas during the festival and it’s the time of year for horrible thunderstorms or 110 degrees in the shade..

Sadly no to sarcasm. F&W was hopeful at one time but Disney put out a generic timeline of 2024. It will be interesting to see if it gets pushed back even more.
